Taqueria Tepatitlan

Over priced food with no flavor other than the decor. Not impressed. We ordered Chile rellenos and a kids enchilada. The salsa and the beans w rice had no flavor. Pretty disappointed.

I was looking for places to go and get something to eat that were open past 9:30pm on Wednesday night. I was driving and could not research places at the same time. My friend found this place on his phone. I knew of this place and have passed it frequently. Apparently, I have eaten here in the past and I do not remember or at another location on West Bellfort, I think. We got there and I looked at the menu. I decided to get the fried Snapper with Rice , Salad, and Fries. I told them no fries and double salad. We waited and I received the food and checked the bag. There was no double salad. I didn't say anything, I just left. When I made it to my destination and settled in, I was ready to eat because I was hungry and hadn't eaten all day. The Snapper was fried too hard and it was very dry. I was very disappointed. The Rice was ok and the salad consisted of Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado, and Onion. I do not eat raw onions so I removed them. I would go back, I just wouldn't get the Fried Snapper again.

Lo siento, chicos, pero la competencia por la comida mexicana en Houston es demasiado. Soy canadiense, con una esposa chef mexicana. Hemos probado docenas de lugares, no solo mexicanos, y esto no valió la pena. Incluso vinimos a la hora feliz para intentar intentarlo, pero no vale la pena tu tiempo. Las bebidas estaban bien (deberían ser más baratas en la hora feliz, pero lo que sea). Pero la comida mexicana necesita tener SABOR. Todo era soso sobre soso sobre soso. Incluso las salsas eran slandesas, y pedimos una más caliente, y nos dieron una salsa "habanero" y básicamente era tomatillo.El lugar apesta a complacencia y no se preocupa por la herencia. Por favor, vuelve a tus raíces y cocina comida mexicana como debería ser, y estarás lleno.

The food is the absolute worst. They used can cheese and it's very obvious. I would say keep driving.

The cashier named Cirley morales 1st of all gave me a hard time on the phone ordering my food & 2nd she overcharged me for something I didn't order & gave herself a tip?! Smh never going there again

I knew I was going to regret stopping here but it was super last minute. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my mom order a veggie omelette. Took over 35 minute for 2 plates. Other tables who came after us were getting the food before. We ended up telling them to just forget the order. We tried to speak to a manager and apparently no one was available. We even paid for the omelette and put it in a to-go plate (we ended up leaving it) but not even a sorry. What more can I expect from a place like this. ‍

GROSS. The beef burrito was full of under cooked low-quality gristle. Inedible.Pollo Torta was soggy and limp with tough chicken, rotten avocado.Maybe stick with rice and re-fried beans a la carte! LOL

Food, service, and ambiance is beyond expectations. I go here often and I love the comfort this place brings. Will go again.

The food is not good, I was expecting other taste but is another Tex Mex fusion, not authentic Mexican food.Pensé que la comida era autentico sabor mexicano, pero que decepción es una fusión X de la comida Tex Mex. La verdad muy desagradable experiencia en sabor, el lugar está la verdad muy original pero la comida no da una.

A Houston classic, there's no better place for authentic Mexican food. Get the gorditas with a topochico preparado.
