Taqueria Mi Jalisco

Never stop at a whim, when you have never been to that food truck before. I stopped here after Bible study, seeing how it caught my eye at a red light. Well- I should have kept driving. Customer service was kind, in spite of the fact I needed a translator. I ordered three fajita tacos with onions and cilantro. One barbacoa taco with onions and cilantro. Totaling $4 and some change. I also ordered a Fajita torta, but I was told it's over there. Over there- meaning across the parking lot to the other end of the parking lot. They only sell tacos. The price is appropriate, because their tacos are mini tacos. Made only on mini corn tortillas. After I received my order, I drove to the other side of the parking lot to order a fajita torta. I stood at the wrong end of the bus until I was unctioned to come over to the other window. Lol- There is not a sign at either window displaying order here, or pick up order here. O' well. I ordered a fajitas torta all the way with extra guacamole. The total was $8- heck I thought to myself that is expensive. It looked huge when I received it. First, I ate my barbacoa taco. It was just okay. Then I bit into a fajita taco, and after a couple of chews I spit it out. It did not taste fresh, nor did it have a good flavor. That was $3- of my money waisted. Okay fine- I went on to the fajita torta. Well the end I opened had literally no meat at that end. So I flipped-it over to the other end, and it was the same way. No meat. After four bites of bread, I reached a small amount of meat. I could definitely taste mustard. What the heck! Who puts mustard on a torta? I don't. Anyway it was totally made different than a common torta. It was if the mayo, mustard, sour cream, and whatever else was used to plump the torta up, because like I said it was huge with very little fajita meat inside. Darn more money waisted, $8- worth. Once again I say, "Never stop at an unfamiliar food truck"... I will take heed to my own advice moving forward. $11 bucks waisted...

I have gone numerous time to try the different tacos and it is absolutely disgusting. And, they serve little meat in tacos. For the price, is not worth it. Might as well drive to a restaurant for that price. Plus some tacos do not seem to be the meat they describe it is. Go at your own risk, but yesterday was surely the last time I will go.

Will forever be my favorite place ! The tacos de suadero y campechanos are bomb! $ the grilled onions just amazing.

My first time here was yesterday. Ask them what they all serve besides tacos and I got an awful response from the guy taking orders. He said obviously tacos. Ignored the smartass remark and proceeded to order. He gave me such a hard time even though i know Spanish. Tacos are great and green salsa is amazing! But the service is SO AWFUL AND RUDE! Not sure if its worth it.

I miss Mexico, especially the cheap good eats you can find on almost any street corner. These two trucks put out food for the hard working gentlemen who do most of the unsung labor that keeps our economy humming along in Houston.The usual lines attest to the quality and value of the food they put out. Diese zwei Imbisswagen machen gutes Essen für die fleissigen Männern, die unsere Wirtschaft in Houston verwirklichen. Die Schlangen beim Mittagessen beweisen das Qualität und Wert vom Essen, das vorhanden ist. Hier gibt's das ähnlichste mexikanisches, das ich in Houston bis jetzt entdeckt habe. (español)Extraño México tanto. No hay puestos de comida corrida in EUA. Estos dos camiones ofrecen comida buena por un precio razonable. Siempre encuentro paisanos de todo Mexico y me hace feliz usar mi español. Las tortas y los tacos no son tex-mex, pero comida corrida autentica!!

Service here is hit or miss depend on the guy working the window. I've been able to place my order at easy and quick and there have been times the guy working the window gives me a hard time. My Spanish isn't great and once I start talking the guy begins to ask me additional questions and after telling him more than once I don't know what he saying he starts laughing. Hes even made a comment in perfect English "it would help for you to learn English". The tacos are not good enough for such rude service.

No lie tacos are good but if your gonna buy a torta might as well and go buy tacos because it takes them 30 minutes to make 1

There's two shifts. The morning usually has only ladies working & the afternoon some guys. The morning ladies are just plain RUDE & to top it off I had a disgusting experience. There was a FLY in my taco!!! Looked like it was cooked in there. So disappointed.

I used to love this place but over the years the customer service has gone down and they have gotten stingy with the condiments. Only give you one salsa for every 5 tacos and they give you an ugly look when you ask for limes. Started going there since 2008 and have decided to take my business elsewhere. Ya dejen de ser tan tacoños o seguiran perdiendo clientes.

Went with some friends, didn't order anything but then decided to go back and order a gordita. They make up prices on the spot. My friend got 2 gorditas and a soda for 7. They told me 7 for just two gorditas, no soda. This business is unprofessional. So after i told the guy it was too much and i'd rather not order anything. He gave me a bad look, like i did something wrong. He gave me the dirtiest look even when i was back in my car!! Screw this business. Will never be coming back and strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere. ALSO THEY DO NOT WEAR MASKS AT ALL!!!!
