Variety is The Spice of LifeWhich means I'm going to give a hole-in-wall Mexican place a chance. Clearly, there is No Ambiance. A few electric fans are ductapped to the frame holding up an awning next to the food truck. Music is the tune of trucks changing gears on the overpass.Dining attire is informal, but hard hats and fluorescent vests are encouraged.Food is mediocre and priced way above the quality.

Long wait for food that was not worth it. Flavorless food that tasted like it was preheated. Something that could have been done in seconds. Close to an hour wait for bland food with no taste.

This is my favorite little 'hole in the wall' authentic Mexican restaurant I've found since moving to Texas from California. The pastor burrito and pastor tacos are my favorite. You can get corn or flour tortillas, which is cool. Tex-Mex is great, but when you want authentic Mexican food this place hits the spot.

Wow, what a blast from the past. At the recommendation of a friend of mine, I went in search of the Taqueria under the bridge. He had raved about the authenticity of the place, it's equally amazing prices, and told me that there was no better taco shack around. All I knew was that it was on 242 past 45. It didn't take long for me to find the place on Yelp, and with so many 5 stars I was looking forward to enjoying a great meal. I locked the address into the driving app and made my way over. And, if it wasn't for the app, I would have driven right past it. The place is actually a standalone structure for the taco truck that is parked directly behind it. The gravel parking lot was full of cars parking in tandem. After checking the place out a bit I figured out that the restaurant parking lot doubles as an auto repair shop parking lot as well. Well, someone said it was authentic. The seating area had about 6 foldout 6-seater tables, covered in plastic table clothes. A fan was working overtime in the corner, an old flat screen TV sat dead against the wall collecting dust from the parking lot and the menu was tacked to the wall. I went to the small window and ordered a burrito. I was wondering about the tacos but when I was told that the burrito had rice, beans, and my choice of meat I figured it would be the best meal to judge several items off their menu. The burro came out piping hot. Wrapped in what looked like a homemade tortilla and sitting on a styrofoam plate...I dug in. The fresh lettuce and tomatoes added a beautiful contrast to the hot contents wrapped expertly in the tortilla. I had wanted carnitas but they didn't have any so I settled on carne al pastor. The guajillo and ancho chile marinated meat was complemented by the refried beans and Spanish rice. It was about the same size as a Chipotle burrito and did well in satisfying me.I found out that they have been in business for 5 years and at this specific location for the last year and a half. They offer free food for the kids when dining in on Monday. Lamentably, it's location isn't conducive for a date, or a night on the town. Since they do offer take out and door dash I would suggest those instead. And the prices weren't as "AMAZING" as my friend had let on. My burrito was 6.50 which is only 45 cents less than a similar one at a local chain. Although the chain restaurant doesn't have the auto repair parking lot ambiance, nor the homemade flavor found in the homemade tortilla...I didn't think it was properly priced.I enjoyed my adventure and may possibly order to go one day. I give this establishment a solid three stars.

I was craving some tacos for my lunch break and looked up this small little taqueria , and was immediately greeted with friendliness , I order six tacos and they came in a very timely manner. The food was amazing ! I often go for green salsa but their red salsa had me almost go up to grab one more ! Another review hit the ambiance on the head. Reminds me of many of restaurants in Monterrey Mexico. If you're looking for some authentic tacos this is your place 10/10 !

This is a hidden gem right by the road. I recommend the tortas they are delicious! They have different meat options for the tortas. They serve fresh waters. I ordered the pineapple water and it tasted fresh. The gorditas are also good. Service was great and fast. Really quiet place since it's hidden. I visited on a Saturday evening and no wait at all.
