This is the best place in Rosenberg that I have eaten at so far! Think about momma pop cozy place this is it! Staff is friendly music is good, not to loud. This hidden gem is cash only, so don't forget your Dinero! While your there try the tripas and homemade corn and flour tortillas will sure win you over!

Small taqueria but big flavor. The food is delicious, reminds me of when I use to visit my aunts in Mexico. They even have mexicana cokes! Definitely will be back. It's the best hole in the wall I've ever been to.

This place is a gem! It serves legit Mexican food and I left there feeling so satisfied! From the moment we arrived it was packed, and when a table left it was quickly sat again; it stayed busy and now I see that it's for good reason!I ordered a chicken fajita torta and my husband ordered a Machacado, they were so flavorful, fresh, and had a very homemade feel to them. My husband also got a taste of their menudo and loved it as well. The plates were very decently sized, not too large but enough to fully satisfy, and also inexpensive, so it was perfect!The only reason I deducted a star was because of the loitering outside as mentioned in another review, and because the plates were served between 5-10 minutes apart, so we had to wait on the second one before being able to eat. Not sure if this is a usual thing for them though. Last thing is that they're CASH ONLY, so make sure you have some with you, trust me it's worth it! I already cannot wait to return!

One of my favorite places to grab tacos in Rosenberg! Best tortillas always fresh! Barbacoa Quesadilla are to die for!!! I just wish they would start accepting credit cards bc sometimes I don't have cash,but the BEST taquerias around town!

Green sauce is good. Picadillo taco was thin like a fruit rollup. Not enough stuffing. Flour tortilla was a bit dry but the corn was soft and fresh. The barbacoa, egg, and potato taco was amazing with green sauce. The carne Guisada taco was just ok... It was missing something like the gravy, cilantro, onions, eggs maybe? Pastor meat was flavorful but could use more chili paste to accentuate the flavor. The goat soup was OK.... Goat all had to much gamey taste to it. Other places clean it down more and had herbs to take the gaminess away. The broth was still great nonetheless. Ill come back to try more breakfast tacos, tacos mixetos, chicken soup, beef meatball soup, and the beef /cheese empanada like dish. Lady at the front was nice. Place looks shifty in morning wth people loitering around but don't let that stop you from going in. Friendly demeanors are here to serve.

The owners are the sweetest! I'm so happy they added some tables and chairs. They keep the restaurant area super clean. I'm so glad they are back up and running. Menudo was delicious, breakfast tacos are a must and crispy tripas, yummo! Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

Great chilaquiles, have good taste and good portion with homemade tortillas. Definitely recommend the spot if you can get past of how the exterior looks. Never judge a book by its cover!

Do I Recommend this place HELL YES!!!! This place is hands down the spot in Rosenberg. My family has been going here to Taqueria Leon for years and we will continue to Visit as long as they continue to have chilaquiles

Yes! If you are in the mood for some good ole spicy chilaquiles, this is your spot! So flavorful and delicious. Cheap and easy to get to. Only downside is they only accept cash! I will also say, growing up in a household where I ate homemade flour tortillas almost everyday, they aren't the best there. Other than that, please check it out! Worth the try

Best Chilaquiles and Best menudo in the area. it's my go to Mexican breakfast spot. the tortillas are the best as they're homemade. yesterday when the waitress brought me my tortillas you could still see the "comal" marks so tasty.
