I wanted some huevos rancheros. I ordered through DoorDash. I wanted the discount that I would receive if I ordered $12 worth. In order to get there, I ordered something called Huevos Estrellados for dessert. I was curious what kind of dessert I was going to get, so I looked up the name of the dish on the Internet and became immediately confused. There is no sweetness in the listings on the Internet. When I got to dish, it was like a normal breakfast. The only difference was there was fried plantain in this dish which was never listed on any of the Internet details. The fried plantain was slightly Sweet and there was a cream sauce included in the Corner which reminded me of a fruit dip. The beans were exactly the same, the eggs were exactly the same. And the only difference between the two breakfasts was the red sauce all over the huevos. The Real dessert was the Fresca 's. When I was a kid there was a soda called Fresca, and I was never impressed. But this one had mango syrup in it. Quite strong and very delicious. So now I was eating four eggs with lots of yolk. Which is OK with me

The service was horrible three servers was looking at our table but never came and helped us. Food was alright, but I literally was staring at them while they were staring at us. It wasn't a good feeling and I probably won't go back for that reason. Considering there's better taco places around us

Good food great price, will definitely be back. Breakfast was good, coffee hot, fresh and hot. Door says 6am, I had to knock on the door about 0630 for them to open up.

The 1st time i came here the food with my family and was great and service was good. Today the service was horrible and we were to only customers, thats sad. Maybe the waitress was having a bad day. No avocados at a Mexican restaurant is un heard of. The ceiling is disgusting dirty. The vent are black with mold. Fans are dusty. Thank goodness the 2 tacos i had were good. I will not return. Dissapointed. Make sure you are aware of automatic gratuity 18%. So we paid for Mariana poor service.

Why does this place have 2.5 stars !?! People are insane because my brothers and I came for the first time 4 days ago , and the food was just insane ! Everything we got was so good , and well flavored, I ordered more to go for my family. I can understand that maybe the staff aren't so attentive , but what do you expect from a hole in the wall? Though i do have to say that one waitress was extremely nice, and though she wasn't our server , I ended up giving her more tip than our own server anyways , I hope they stay a while because I will be back time and time again !

The place doesn't look like much from the outside but the food and service were terrific and the whole place was clean, even the restrooms. We will go there again.

This location is very convenient on the corner of 249 and Bammel. The shopping center makes it accessible from several entrances, and that was a factor in choosing to dine here. This is one of those locations where the overall rating is pretty accurate. There were definite highlights of the experience, but the largest part of my rating will always focus on my entrees, and those were kind of terrible. Service was okay. The staff wasn't really engaged, but they did accomplish their tasks. I wouldn't describe anyone who was working Sunday evening as friendly, but they did their jobs.We started out with a Tamarindo Agua Fresca and a Dr. Pepper. Judging from the large size of the cups, I am guessing they don't do refills, but I did not ask. The agua fresca was strong, but very good. We were served with chips and salsa and then we added on an order of chile con queso for $4.50.The chips were quite good, definitely the best thing we had during our visit. They tasted homemade and I love a thick, crispy tortilla chip. Our server saw we ran out of chips before our food came and did not offer or ask if we wanted more. This leads me to believe they don't refill these either, without a charge, but it's just an impression I was given and I could be mistaken. The salsa was warm, slightly spicy and heavy on the tomato flavor. The queso was shockingly small for the price and had a very thick texture. I was disappointed because it tasted okay, but not good enough to justify the price we paid.We placed our orders and waited a reasonable amount of time. My husband got the carne asada quesadilla plate for $8.99 and the portion was a decent size for the price. I ordered 4 tacos and a small side of rice, all of which were $1.50 each. My rice was okay, but my tacos were not. The tortillas are clearly not made in house, but I won't knock you for having cold, store bought tortillas if you fill them with something tasty. Someone was really heavy handed with the salt that day, and that was the final factor that helped us decide we would not be returning.I actually *like* salt, but I could feel my blood pressure rising just from a few bites, it felt that unhealthy. The only thing that wasn't salty was the pastor, it was actually bland and cold. The barbacoa, nopalitos and carnitas were all salty though. In addition, the barbacoa was too greasy and the nopalitos tasted weirdly sour and bitter (instead of tart). The carnitas had the best texture of all the tacos, but they were the saltiest thing on my plate, making it difficult to eat.My husband let me sample a bit of his carne asada and I was shocked that it was greasier and saltier than anything on my plate. It was so greasy that a few minutes into our meal, the plate was covered in orange grease and it had soaked through the quesadilla. It was mostly inedible and frankly, hard to look at.As we were wrapping things up, my husband used their restroom and immediately warned me to wait until we returned home... ewww.I hope that this was a one off situation. Since we were only visiting the area, I have no way of knowing if this is normal for them. However, most of the food felt like a waste of money and the only items I actually enjoyed were my agua fresca and the chips. Though I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt, I feel our experience had too many issues to gloss over and I'm obligated to give an honest rating. I generally tend to round up my ratings on a first visit since I know things happen, but I cannot justify a higher rating at this time.

I Stopped here for lunch today with my husband. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and he ordered a torta al pastor. My plate was good, my only complaint is they served very little beans. It looked like they gave me half a table spoon of runny beans. My husbands torta looked more like a panini. They grilled his torta and it really took away from a traditional torta. Their chips and salsa were ok, the chips seemed old or double fried. I also suggest they liven up the place by playing more music. They do have a station for guest to play music but if we don't pay for it, they don't play anything and it just feels dead. Also, they had the A/C running and I was sooo cold even with a sweater on, thank God I had an extra jacket in my truck. The waitress even noticed I was cold, but didn't bother offering to adjust the temp. Over all, food is good but way over priced for a taqueria! We paid $20 +tip for two.
