I've been twice now with a long period of time between and it is still really good. Hole in the wall Mexican food at its finest. Had the cammorones diabla. Comes with a dozen shrimp in a spicy red sauce. It was excellent! I'll be going there more often to sample their other offerings.

Casual Mexican restaurant with friendly faces & tasty food. Menu has pictures so it's easy to chose what you like. We had flautas with rice, guacamole, tomato & lettuce; and a beans & rice with chicken chalupa dish. Beans were tasty, rice had that good Mexican rice texture. The shredded chicken had a well-seasoned, not boiled meat taste.

I visited the drive thru for breakfast. There are no prices on breakfast tacos listed, though they do offer them. I ordered a bacon and egg taco $1.85. Cheese is $0.50 more. The taco was ok, but it was micro-mini . I was kind of surprised, because the gas station right next door has bigger better tacos for $0.99. Usually, when there's that kind of competition, prices tend to reflect the competition. Not in this case. I think I'll stick with stripes.

It is widely known how Mexican restaurants cut corners to make even more money on an already profitable venture--Fernandez is no exception. I truly enjoyed the queso blanco and ranchero beans, they were very well made. With that said, here's the rest of the enchilada:Their sweet tea taste like it was from last week, the salsa was so hot I couldn't taste anything else, the fajita (mystery meat) had no seasoning, and their tortillas are flat and crunchy. Don't eat their for dinner--the owner goes home and the staff watch novellas. Breakfast or lunch and that's hit or miss as well. Happy eating

For a road side diner it's ok. Great experience with the waitress, she only speak Spanish to me ( still friendly and with a smile), managed to order food & drink, oh what fun. Had the whole fried fish, nice and moist, surprisingly good.

I love getting breakfast here. My family and I come here every weekend for breakfast tacos and they always get our order right. The service is amazing. They get our order correct every time and in perfect timing. Their bacon and egg tacos pair well with their red salsa. We get their beef fajita tacos with avocado on flour as well and the avocado is always fresh. I truly have no complaints about this restaurant. It's fast and cheap and tastes amazing.

Absolutely amazing! I had papas Ranchero, it was so good. Ranchero sauce was one of my favorites. Potatoes cooked to perfection. Red sauce will light you up, which was a bonus! Green sauce was very flavorful. I got an extra plate to go! Dinner!

Awesome service a with a smile.. a great place to eat, food is really good but best of all is the customer service, along with owner on site and greeting customers..

Breakfast here is amazing! The place is old school. If you are looking for class this isn't the place for you. But if your looking for grandmas Mexican food this is the place. The pancake eggs and sausage is perfect for a start of the day. The breakfast tacos are so good. I never order from the menu. I just order what I want and they make it. Just like grandma would.
