Taqueria El Rojo Loco

When it comes to Mexican Restaurant, I can say this is my favorite one. I've been here for a few times already and I've tried different dishes. I haven't order one that I didn't like yet.I am no mexican but I appreciate their food. This restaurant offers authentic mexican foods and the people behind are from Allende, Nuevo LeonBistek Ranchero is really good! It is just a little bit spicy for me. But it was seasoned sooo good! I also liked their horchata. I tried it before in other places but this one was the first horchata glass that I have finished.I recommend this restaurant to all that craves for Mexican foods.

This is one of my favorite taco restaurants in Houston. I'll often go when I'm in between seeing patients at LBJ and Memorial Hermann, since it's right off the freeway.For breakfast tacos, I highly recommend the nopales con huevos. I just started adding potatoes on those for a couple more cents and it's spectacular. Make sure to ask for cebolla y cilantro. Their house salsa is excellent also. I bought a bottle of the salsa rojo for home. Solid tortillas de maíz, which is not always a given in Houston, which seems to be more of a harina kind of town.Taco history: California native. Worked in East LA for 6 years.

Came to meet some family that was passing by Houston and this place was LEGIT! They do get really packed and it's a small little restaurant so be prepared to wait a bit but it's totally worth the wait. They serve breakfast all day which is rare for places near by to do so. The service was really good even thought they were so packed we got our orders out quick and correct and the prices are very cheap too. Definitely will be back.

This place was awful the tacos rojos here were not good , the meat was too seasoned whit cumin, the rice was not fresh the quesadillas were dry and the meat tasted like it was fried. they overcharged me for stuff that i didnt bougth! they need more staff , they forgot the tomatos in one of my tacos and when i asked them they charged for them! Never coming back

Im giving 4 stars because of the friendliness of everyone here.I have been coming to this Taqueria for close to 5 years now. The food is made to order, and is always fresh.The chips are good, and the salsa is spicy. I like the fajita meat nachos but instead of chips they use french fries, instant fatness! The hamburgesa (mexican hamburger) is great as well! But today im ordering 4 barbacoa tacos and chasing it down with a freshly made lemonaide.This restaurant is located in a rough part of town, but the food is worth it!

Can't go wrong everything authentic ! Customer service is ALWAYS Goof. Menudo is hard to find but this one is great. Variety of options !

I am from the neighborhood and it's always a pleasure to stop by for some tacos. I usually get the #4 or the burrito. It's off of 59 south and collingsworth. The area is up and coming so just be cautious. It's definitely my top favorite spot for a small local business. The restaurant is a decent size, clean restroom, you choose where to sit, staff are great with making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your experience. Price is really great compared to other spot in neighborhood. Staff are kind and attentive Clean spaceGreat options for breakfast/ lunch No complaints from me

Hello y'all!!! So went to this place, my wife is from Monterrey, N.L. I'm not from there so this review is part from her and also myself. Getting there was pretty easy, location is good, area is not high end but it's ok. Service is good, friendly, and efficient. I liked that I had like 5 waiters they all just keep asking if you need anything, so that's nice if you ever need anything lots of hands passing by not having to wait on your waiter in case they are busy. It is family friendly, and good size. As far as the food, this is why I gave a 4 out of 5, I had the pozole and it was good, just seemed that it was reheated or had been sitting all day, hominy was very squishy and pozole didn't taste fresh. Again it was still good just would have been better fresh. The red tacos I liked my wife said they were very close to the ones back home, something to do with the tortilla. I think they could of had more meat and potato in them since when I took a bite and I'm not taking little bites since I love food!! Tasted repollo and tortilla most of the time, finally about 3 bites in you taste the meat and potato, but i guess that's how they make them in Mexico, again that's my wife saying that. She had the flautas and they were ok she actually did not finish them which told me they were not that good they were just OK. Will definitely try them again a different day and different food. Will post update then.

Quiero hacer un comentario espero y sirva para bien y no lo tomen a mal ayer domingo 12/mayo/2024 la encargada que esta en las mesas regaño muy fuerte y feo a una señora que estaba limpiando los plastos q la señora es de edad ya grande y no tiene la misma fuerza para hacer todo rápido al contratarla saben q ella va ser lenta y me dio mucho coraje como pe llamo la atención esta persona. Que bien podría ser su Mami de ella o cualquier persona de nosotros por la forma en q le grito y se dirigió a ella no puedo recomendar este restaurante la comida es buena pero cuando oyes estos gritos hacia los empleados mejor prefiero ir a otro restaurante espero y el dueño haga algo al respecto y casi todo oyeron los empleados q le grito asta la Michacha delgada que cobra no dijo nada y aparte ya q ayer fue un día especial para todas las mamás del mundo de perdida ese día fueran felices todas att lance by
