Taqueria El Barbón

Was really looking forward to this. My sister has brought me their birria tacos a while back and they were great. I ordered the torta online to pick up. I had picked it up 4 minutes after receiving the text that it was ready.Firstly, the packaging - saran wrap is going to make your food soggy. Especially a torta. If anything a foil wrap would be much better. Presentation was way off compared to the other photos on here. In other photos, people received their crema on the side instead of in the actual torta.I'm disappointed because I was craving a good torta with crema and cheese, and instead i received this soggy wrinkly torta.Text screenshot to show time of order/pick up and writing this review.

Food was yummy, a bit overpriced. Overall I would recommend. There was a huge crowd of firefighters ahead of us and wait was a bit longer than expected but the food was fresh, warm, and tasty. I recommend the frijoles preparados. It was a big portion and full of meat. I'm always weary of taco trucks but this one was clean and we did not have any issues with our food.

First time and will not be last. Fastest service I have ever experienced, less than 5min I had my meal. I ordered a quesadilla de bistec and honestly you can never go wrong with it. Meat was juicy and it was not greasy at all. Definitely would be coming more often I didn't live on the other side of town!

Fast service food truck, they have an additional truck on site for to make dressed michelada cups to go. This place is always busy (got lucky today around 1pm) , so skip the line and call your order in.Got the Birria taco's, three to an order. Some of the best Birria taco's I've had in Houston!Will be back for sure!!!

I was super excited to try this place but was a little disappointed in the food. We ordered 10 chicken tacos and they were pretty dry. I had to use both salsas to make it not as dry. I think they also forgot to put the grilled jalapeño in both containers as well. I also ordered the charro beans and I was not a fan. I wasn't able to finish them. They were lacking a lot of flavor.

Nice food truck, I love to get the birria quesadilla. It used to be bigger than it is now, but it is still a pretty nice size just less meat. Here and there it's a hit or miss, I guess it just depends if they marinate the birria right or not that morning or night.

It was so amazing of this business to come out and help our teachers, the food was authentic and delicious and they offer Mexican Cocacola !

This place is a great food truck. The green spicy salsa is great. The quesadilla Mixta is good too.

Oh, the Birria tacos! We've tried Birria a lots of places, none as good as El Barbon!Great, fast, helpful service. Huge portions! It's fun to eat from a food truck... we take it home as a nice treat when we don't want to cook. Quesadillas, street tacos, and Birria ramen are also really good!My favorite food truck!

Been here a few times, although the Birria is good, I truly loved the asada fries they made for me. It was a huge serving with grilled onions, both green and red salsa, pico de gallo, and crema. Hands down one of the best versions of asada fries I have had. It's so good and I've had it here twice.
