Taqueria Don Pollo

First time trying out don pollo and We will be back! Got the fajita and pollo tacos, they were delicious!! They have all the fixings for a perfect taco. Definitely need to try this spot out if your in the area.. (I didn't get a picture they didn't last long unfortunately and I live in the moment)

Oh man these tacos are amazing!!! The Gorditas are off the hook too! Definitely check this place out Cuh! You won't regret it!

I got the chicken platter for $11. It comes with beans, rice, tortillas, a small salad, and 2 pieces of chicken.I got very little chicken for the price. The pieces were really tiny and tasted ok at best. The beans are very bland. The rice however was well seasoned and quite good. The sauces too were very good and the tortillas were above average.Maybe the other dishes are good, but it is called don pollo so I expected better.Overall, the experience was negative due to the amount of chicken and the beans and I dont see myself coming here again.

$20 for a chicken is just too high in my opinion. Tried it twice....Once it was moist- once it was dry.

We found Don Pollo Taqueria by fate after dropping off a friend at Avana Cypress apartments and taking a detour to the Houston Premium Outlets.This was by-far, the TASTIEST grilled chicken, onion, serrano pepper I have ever had. A side of charro beans and warm corn tortillas were great too. We met a gentleman who drives 30-minutes out of his way every Saturday to eat Don Pollo Taqueria's half chicken.This food truck is beyond finger lickin' good! A must eat if you are in Cypress/Houston area.

Looks like you can get a spotty experience here looking at some of the reviews. despite some of the poor experiences other had, we decided to try this Taqueria because we wanted some good authentic Mexican street tacos. There was one person ahead of us and we started getting food before her which I thought was weird. However, for us it was a delicious experience. The food tasted great and the salsas were nice and spicy. It's fun eating outside underneath the canopy however, sometimes you can get a strong wind and you'll smell at the gas station isn't too far away. We ended up buying drinks inside the gas station since were using that place to wash our hands. I'd recommend going to this place however, just be aware that it sounds like some people were getting some poor experiences.

Great tasting food and friendly service.Call ahead service is available so that's a major plus.

This is my go to place for real Tacos Mexicanos. I've been recommending this place to everybody at work and they all love it!

The absolute best taco truck we ever had! The steak is not dry, it's juicy and flavorful. Tacos always come out hot and fresh. When people come to town, we always take them here

Consistently great and the people who work here are always very friendly. The red salsa is crazy hot don't use too much!
