This is an awesome place to hang where you seat yourself. There are indoor seating options, a covered outdoor seating area upstairs with fans and heaters, and there is also outdoor picnic table seating downstairs. There is a nice size area downstairs for kids to play. There are tires, a sand area and mini golf. The food I've eaten has been fine. I enjoyed their tots with their cheese sauce and bacon. I had their buffalo chicken sandwich which was good but I would have liked more sauce on it. Apparently you can get their burgers or chicken sandwiches with 1, 2, or 3 patties.

It's always a relaxed, low-pressure environment here. The food may not be remarkable or something you'll rave about, but that's beside the point. The real appeal is enjoying a few beers or a meal with friends while watching downtown Apex. The service is decent, though I keep my expectations in check since it's not a high-end spot. You seat yourself, catch some games, and just enjoy the atmosphere.Savor the food and the great weather.

We have always wanted to try this fuel-station-turned-restaurant after passing by and seeing it always packed. We were pleasantly surprised to find a cool drink special that night:a generous glass of mimosa for $5. Our waitress was really sweet and gave us a complimentary ice cream when we told her it was our first time there. She really made the experience, I wish I could remember her name. The food was decent and it was a pretty chill spot to enjoy a quick weekday dinner. I would recommend and would definitely be back again sometime.

Love this place so much. All the food is delicious! The pretzel is HUGE and so worth it. Employees are so friendly and both the indoor and outdoor seating options are so fun! The indoor seating looks like the back of old truck beds being reused.

We came through town on a Friday afternoon around 1:30 and when we drove past Tap Station, we decided it looked so cute we just had to try it. There is a sign that tells you to grab a drink at the bar and then grab a table. So we headed upstairs to the bar and after waiting forever finally were served. We then took a table on the patio and waited again for a long time for a waitress to bring us waters and menus. We finished our beers and watched the waitress flirt with the bartender and never come back to take our order so we left and went somewhere else to eat. I cannot comment on the food since we were never served, but I can say the service was terrible!

Three of us went here for dinner tonight, which is Monday. According to their Yelp info they are closed on Monday....but we went and they were packed. We sat downstairs in the only available table which was dirty, but was cleaned off. The menu is varied with a few appetizers, a few salads, a few burgers, some chicken sandwiches, etc. there's a kids menu with 4 choices. One of us got buffalo egg rolls, one of us got a kids cheeseburger with tiny fries(burger was overcooked )and I got a burger with a cucumber and tomato salad. The burger reminded me of the old steak and shake burgers. It was ok but not worth the price . I would not get it again. The best thing we had was the bang bang tots. We all enjoyed them. One gal was serving most of the tables, but still checked on us several times. Outside there's some games and a play area for kids. I will not return. There's much better burgers out there.

I absolutely love this place!! I love the concept of turning an old auto garage into an amazing bar/restaurant. I absolutely love that they've stuck with the theme. I've eaten at the Tap Station twice. Both times we sat at the downstairs bar and Nate was the bartender. Nate is friendly and always super nice to my Mom as she asks him a million questions. Their cocktails are good and they usually have a pretty great list of beers on tap. My favorite cocktail there is the Pain Killer. Last night I told my husband that I felt like I was drinking a glass of vacation! I did not even know that the section of the drink menu I ordered from was called Vacations. Hahaha! Every food item I've had there (we like to share with anyone we are there with so I have tasted many of their menu items) has been delicious. My personal favorite is the chicken egg rolls on the appetizer menu. The pimento cheese burger is really good too. I wish this place was closer to my house! We would definitely be regulars there. As it is such a haul from our house, we will definitely stop in any time we are out that way.

Super friendly service in a unique setting. The food was great and to be able to feel the breeze upstairs on a beautiful evening really made our night. We'll be coming back.

We love this local hangout. The food is easy on adults and kids. The beverage selection is good. It's a place where parents can take a break to decompress and kids do their own thing at the playground area. No need to think about what you are wearing and just be real. My fav is their Chicago dog.

Love this place! Such a cool vibe. Location is an old gas station--this 2 level, kid-friendly, down-to-Earth eatery is fun & creative with good food & a great beverage selection, including "adult milkshakes". Hah! Awesome uses of old cars, tires, tire racks, gas pumps, etc to decorate the place within the theme. We had great service, good food (Slum Dog & French Dip), good drinks. We would definitely come back. For those with kids--sand pit, tire climbs, picnic tables over pea gravel on the lower level--what's not to love?
