Tang's Express

After arriving back in Houston, I was looking for dinner after my flight in the area. There aren't a wealth of options close by so I decided on Tang's Express. I love Chinese food. But this experience left a lot to be desired. First off, the restaurant is pretty worn down. To the point where I'd recommend getting take out rather than dining in. After perusing the menu, I went with their pick two special. I went with the orange chicken, general Tso's chicken, and fried rice. One thing I liked is that it's a generous portion. Definitely enough for two or three meals. Unfortunately, this was some substandard Chinese food. The chicken was overcooked. The sauce lacked flavor. For both the orange chicken and the general Tso's. I know this is pretty harsh but I'd avoid Tang's Express. I've had better Chinese pretty much everywhere, even at the mall.

These reviews must be paid for ain't no way. I should've known when I pulled up on a Friday night and noCars were there. I order the general tso with chicken fried rice and I couldn't finish it. The chicken was over cooked and I couldn't finish it. The fried rice was good I did like that they use real eggs but bland AF. Ruined my night

Absolutely amazing. Off the beaten path but man oh man, is it worth it! I ordered the chicken pho, spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Houston!

I've had food from here twice and I'm obsessed. I got the two pork egg rolls, order of cream cheese puffs, 2 entrees and one side, and steamed pork dumplings. It tasted like it was all freshly made and the wait was worth it! It was a hit with my picky parents. The bourbon chicken was so tender and juicy. The lo mein had great taste to it!

Discovered this place for lunch off of Yelp one day. The outside is very unsuspecting. They had the lights off so I thought they were closed. They were not, and in glad I powered through the dark (it was overcast that day) but only after a few more customers showed up! Ordered the spicy garlic shrimp. Massive portion. I love that it comes with so many veggies! Also got a side of fried rice but you can get steamed or brown. Also comes with a fortune cookie. All I can say is I went here two days in a row. You go and check it out. And if the lights are off, power through! .

The food here is what you are looking for when it comes to Chinese food! I ordered the shrimp fried rice and some egg rolls and it was great! Food was fresh and hot and egg rolls were very crispy and very tasty! I have been here years before and liked it so had to go back!

New to the area and searching for a quick takeout I stumbled upon this gem. Spicy shrimp was delicious as was the shrimp/chicken fried rice they accommodated for me. Great Service!

Pepper shrimp is so good! Just like the one at the buffet! Food is fresh and made when you order it! I tried the two entree and one side today, great deal! Everything is fresh. Good portions
