Fairly new restaurant. I believe it's run by the daughter of the people who the original Tangra Masala in Queens, NY. Service was great. The server was attentive. We got our favorites: Monchow soup (5/5), Tangra masala fish fingers (5/5), Tangra masala fried rice (3/5), and chow mein (3/5). I'd say it's pretty close to the rating I'd give the parent Tangra Masala now. They used to be better 10-15 years ago... Came here for the nostalgia.

This review would be 3.5 stars, to be honest. The ambience of this place is nice, the service is not bad, and the food is okay. The quality of the food is good but the taste ranges from okay to good. To be fair, I went for the buffet during Ramadan and it may not be a great indicator for the quality of food they serve, but we did get chicken lollipops a la carte and still didn't like it enough to justify the steep price. This place is overhyped and overpriced. Also, this place does not serve authentic food at all. For a restaurant named after Tangra (the Chinatown area in Kolkata, India), this place has no relatable food items. It's good for a one-time visit, but that's about it. Also, a big negative is that they can split the bill into two at most. There were 6 of us, so that was rather inconvenient.

Chicken Momo - 8.5/10Chicken Lollypops - 9/10Chicken Manchurian Fried Rice - 9/10Chicken/Beef Tangra Masala Chow Mein - 7/10Chicken Chili - 8/10Mongolian Beef - 7/10Thai Iced Tea - 8/10Ferrero Rocher Kulfi - 8/10Tried this Halal Indo-Chinese spot which opened about 1 year ago. They had soo many items on the menu! For me the food was very gingery, especially the chow mein. I didn't like the strong ginger flavor in the food. But other than that the food had a lot of flavor and spice (they offer less or more spice per request). I did really enjoy the chicken momo and chicken lollypops. Service and ambiance were great!

Came here for lunch and the restaurant was quiet. Interior is pretty and there are ample seatings. My party ordered the Tangra Masala Style tiger prawns with gravy, and dry Manchurian style fish. We had both dishes to be mild spicy but only the tiger prawns had some spice to it. The tiger prawns were big and cooked well. However the sauce had no deep flavor. Can't taste any ginger nor cumin. The fish was as tasteless too. The plus point was the fish wasn't dry. Despite the good service, I wouldn't return because the food was a disappointment.

A group of us went to on the right day and the right time. The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional also. We ordered the following items: Chili Beef 5/5. Beef was seasoned to perfection, with right amount of spice and was tender. Gen tso chicken 5/5. Probably one of the most popular items anywhere. Nice chunks of chicken marinated in that "ooo so delish sauce"Chili chicken. 5/5. Very well seasoned. We used gravy for this one. Salt n Pepper tiger prawn. 4/5. Very savory looking. Nice presentation. Well seasoned and tasted good, however I could still smell that shrimp aroma. Lo meins and Fried rice. 5/5. Didn't try those, but seeing how fast the kids finished their plates, I'm thinking that it was just that damn gooood. Our service was up to standards. Got our refills on time. Servers were friendly and gave us great recommendations. The ambiance was fine too.

What a beautiful name for a restaurant! Spacious and nicely designed restaurant, the staff was also friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a nice evening with my friends for dinner here on a Friday evening. The Momos - both fried and steam - were both tasty, and I want to get them again. The chili prawns were spicy and my favorite other than the momos. I liked the flavor of the tangra masala fried rice but didn't like the chicken with it as much. Thought the manchurian lollypops were ok. The salt and pepper chicken was a bit harder to chew on. Though I did enjoy some entrees, I didn't care for others, but I will come again to get the momos and chili prawns again!

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Everything was nice and fresh! The chicken momos were my favorite item. For some reason, the corn soup was topped with fresh shredded lettuce and carrot which I find a bit odd but the soup itself was really good. The flavor of the noodles we got was alright. It was a good portion and the shrimp was nice but I would try a different noodle next time. The chili chicken was great and the sauce had a nice savory flavor. The restaurant itself is not very big. It's nicely decorated. I appreciate the quick service. The man who brought out the food was very nice.

Food was excellent and well seasoned. The Hot and Sour was loaded with vegetables and had a nice flavor. Good balance of spice.
