Very good lunch buffet with a decent selection of entrees to choose from. Everything was fresh and tasty. The staff was good and the restaurant was very clean.

Their entrees don't include rice, and they don't make that clear on their menu. Having recently relocated back to the NWI area, we've been on a lowkey mission to find a decent Indian place, but this one won't be making the short list. We were in the Schererville area, so we decided to place a carryout order for a couple of vegetarian curries ($13.50+), vegetable pakora ($7), and naan ($3.50+). When we got home, we realized there was no rice included with our order.I honestly wasn't sure if they'd forgotten the rice, so I went to their website to try to contact them to ask if their entrees come with rice, but I never received a response. When I came here to leave a review, I saw that other customers had commented about the same issue and were told that it would be $4 to add rice. I just looked at their website again, and I don't see anything that informs you that you will need to add rice separately. Their food was fine, but by the time you add rice, you're paying almost $20 per entrée. I have never been to an Indian restaurant that didn't defaultly serve complimentary rice with their curries before coming back to NWI.

Decided I wanted to try Indian food for my birthday, and the Service was amazing. Staff and owner were friendly. The ambiance was very prestige and cozy. The main reason is the food heard so much about it from everyone we've ask and told, this was the place to go.

I've been wanting to try Indian food, outside of curry, for a while. The dasher Stephanie Sutterly picked up our food and stole it so we had to have it reordered. We ordered the garlic naan, chicken biryani, and butter chicken. The butter chicken wasn't bad but it was sweet. I wasn't expecting that after seeing so many people rave about it. The garlic naan tasted like any average pita bread, and the chicken biryani wasn't bad, I just wish they held back on some of the onions. Next time I'll try a different dish.

Went here recently for the first time after living in Schererville most of my life. The food was all very fresh and tasted very authentic and home made. I'd recommend Tandoor to anymore feeling adventurous looking for quality Indian food in NWI!

Happy Birthday to ME!!! Well, yesterday lol! First off, this place is soooo cute! The ambiance as soon as you enter is very warm and welcoming . The staff are extremely efficient without being overbearing and the food... ya'll I LOVE Indian food. I don't eat it as often as I'd like but I heard good things about Tandoor and its authenticity so, that's where I headed. For starters I ordered the Keema samosa and dear lord... I could've just had 4 of these and called it a night lol. I used the sauces that came with the bread and I was dancing in my seat. It arrived so hot and fresh and FAST. For my drink I had water and a glass of the California Cycles Gladiator Merlot and let me tell you, one glass was SUFFICIENT. For my entrée I had the Butter chicken and garlic naan, of course. My bestie ordered the Karahi chicken. Both dishes arrived piping hot and mind you they stayed that way until we finished our entire meal! The Butter chicken was tender , full of flavor and the spice level was exactly what I asked for. The Karahi chicken was more of a curry based versus the tomato and its spice level was more intense but just as delicious . I know it's unnecessary, but I really enjoyed that a pitcher of iced water was placed at the table . I enjoyed it more because it also had a filter so the ice didn't come through unless you wanted it to. I also like that the servers ask what spice level you like your meal to be at. I have zero complaints and I can't wait to come back and try something I've never had before . My total came out to a little over 64.00 and this did not include the tip. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience! I'll see you again soon!

Lovely staff and excellent buffet. Assortment of dishes was wonderful. I really enjoyed the tomato cilantro soup with its spicy flavor. Loads of options on the buffet. Goat with saag. Assorted chicken options and some vegetarian dishes. Salads and dessert rounded out the selections. I do love Indian buffets. This one is only available at lunchtime.

What a gem to find in this part of Indian. Great tasting buffet. They may not have the variety I am used to enjoying at other Indian buffets, but everything I tried here was delicious. Well executed. Great naan and tasty tandoori. I would definitely come back. I don't even have a photo of my plate bc I was so excited to try everything I actually forgot to take a photo. I did take some pics of the buffet spread. I would definitely come back here.

Very good food! We enjoyed the Tika Masala along with salad and naan. The Tandoori chicken was dry and over cooked but everything else was excellent. The atmosphere and service was excellent also. We will definitely return
