Oh Tamale Kitchen...perhaps you are past your prime. I know you used to be good or maybe I was a different person. We had a lot of good times and there is a lot about you that I still respect and like but I think we should see other people.I saw that you are opening a location closer to where I live now. I can't stop you but I can't imagine that will make me like you any more...I will probably come around once or twice though.In all seriousness though, I appreciate Tamale Kitchen for what it is...TRUE Mexican fast food. It is fast food quality and about a 1/4 of the time they will get your order wrong. They actually aren't particularly fast but neither is Wendy's now a days.Will I eat tamale kitchen? For sure! Is it anywhere near a place you NEED to try? Not at all. I can't think of anything on the menu that is worth the trip. It is all there for you as a late night spot for when all your other favorite Mexican food places have closed for the day.Giving two stars as I can't say I HATE Tamale Kitchen but I can't say I like it either.

this was our first stop on our trip to Denver. It was across from the hotel so we thought we'd go get some food before we had to check in. It's a hole in the wall for sure but I thought the food was decent. The green chili was good. The portion was a bit small for the price , I could use a bit of spiffing up a bit of cleaning maybe but for what it was it was good and the girl was super friendly and there was no issues so all in all I wish it was good enough for lunch

It is what it is. Not your chain place where decor means more than food. Followed three painters vans there. Got a killer tostada. Wish I got more. Taco. Really good. Three tamales. The spicy chic6is real, spicy. Got some condiments. Should get more. Ate in hotel area and pissed off people who were suddenly hungry after seeing mine. It's really filling. Friendly staff.

I was at tamale kitchen last night when I got to the speaker the girl asked if I was picking up an order I said no I was placing one. And she said that most of all the food is put away she said there was only chili, beans, tortilla, and one more thing available. There was still 16 minutes left before closing. She got my order wrong I asked for a bean and cheese special and what I got was no chili and she forgot my side of chili.

This used to be one of our favorite Mexican Food places. We're been going to Tamale Kitchen since the first one opened in Morrison. We ordered $130 worth of Door Dash and they forgot our 2 Soft Chili Relleno's. When I called, the girl who answered the phone was extremely rude. She mentiond that she in fact packed the order she insisted she sent them. I'm not sure if she was confused with the Mexican Eggrolls we ordered or what but we did NOT receive the 2 soft relleno's. After talking over me and arguing with me she ended up just hanging up on me. We will not be ordering from them again. Not to mention their prices have gone up quite a bit and the chicken burrito was dry! What a shame!

I saw hair in food, now I'm highly disgusted... I was so exited to eat here until that was the first thing I seen. Churros are burnt, they can't follow simple order instructions. Worst food I've had. Seasoned dog shit would be better than this dump.

We ordered for pickup. When we found that the order was wrong and called to get it fixed, the staff argued with us about what we ordered. We had ordered 4 burritos including a steak fajita burrito. Instead of a steak fajita burrito we got a breakfast burrito. They were very rude over the phone. When we went in they were extremely rude to us and acted like they were "doing us a favor" by giving us a new burrito, which was also wrong. They gave us a steak fries burrito instead of a steak fajita burrito.
