Dine-in experience on 7/12 Had a party of 8 which was reserved prior. Menu is seasonal and was preset for larger party, request were allowed if any particular dish was wanted. Menu was set out appetizer, tapas, and main appetizer style. *Food/Drinks 4.3/5"PNKLLR" - Recommended by our server, was refreshing, not too strong. I would recommend if you like Moscow mules. "Snacks" - The fried peanuts, garlic, scallion, coconut, basil appetizer was great for snack food/drinking food. Liked the variety and different textures. The fish skin and relish was my least favorite dish of the night. The relish was refreshing and cut the oiliness and fishiness of the fish skin, the relish textures also contrasted well with the crispy fish skin. However, I felt like the flavors clashed too much and did not go together. The octopus fritters with the chili garlic sauce was a okay appetizer, didn't get much notes of octopus, just tasted mostly the batter and the sauce. "Hamachi Crudo" One of the highlights of the menu. Garnish and sauce went very well. I wouldn't have expected peaches to go well with yellowtail. Would recommend. "Northern Thai Beef Tartare" First time having tartare and I was not disappointed. Went along well with the rice cracker. Great finger food. Would recommend. "Crispy Rice Salad" I was looking forward to this dish based on other reviews. I thought the dish's dressing or sauce was a little too salty for a salad, the crispy rice really sells this dish. "Tomato salad" I'm personally not a big fan of tomatoes but I tried this dish and I was a fan. Despite the sauces and garnish the freshness of the tomatoes really shined throughout. "Octopus" Was a big fan of this dish, one of my favorites this meal. I paired this alongside the sticky rice that was provided. Would've preferred this dish a tad bit spicier, but overall very tasty. "Green Curry"This was paired with the jasmine rice and I thoroughly enjoyed this, it contrasted very well with the previous Octopus dish. The curry was creamy and tad sweet. The flounder was delicious and meaty, and boneless which was a nice touch. Only criticism was I wish the fish skin was more crispy. Very comforting entree. "Grapao Stir Fry" This was also paired with the jasmine rice and I also liked this dish. The sauce smothering the beef, peppers matched perfectly with the rice and fried egg. My party thought this dish was spicy, but it was at a perfect spice for me. Loved the peppers used in this dish, delicious take on a beef and pepper combination. Vibes 4.5/5The seating was a bit small for a big party and overall the seat arrangements felt a bit cramped with how crowded this place can get. Ample amount of seating outside and inside. Customer service was amazing. Server was always around, request were done quickly, dishes were bought out fast, water was always refilled quickly. The music played was good, and the interior aesthetic was unique and beautiful. Miscellaneous: Small parking lot available onsite, alongside street parking. Unisex bathrooms available. I believe reservations are available but not needed. Tip: They originally seat you with forks and spoons, feel free to ask for chopsticks if needed. Final NotesI was apprehensive about coming to this place per some reviews but was proven wrong. Portion sizes were on smaller side, but I would not say is a big issue. Initially the flavors started off weak but developed and ended strong by the last entree. Customer service was amazing; a person in our party has a shellfish allergy and they made accommodations on the spot(marking the menu, changing the oil, giving her a separate entree) with little notice. The restaurant also gave sorbet dessert for my friend's birthday. Kudos all around. Definitely give this restaurant on the Michelin guide a shot.

Their menu changes (can find most recent ones on their IG story!) and I've heard that they take great care in getting fresh ingredients and making things from scratch. There's street parking available in the area, recommend making a reservation if you can (there's a charge if you don't show fyi). Their outside patio is dog friendly. A group of 3 of us ordered basically the whole menu when we went because we wanted tor try everything. The portions are smaller than what the prices reflect personally.- Flounder (MKT): the cool thing is that they offer different sizes of flounder in case you're ordering a lot of other things and don't want too much of it. It comes fried with a delicious sauce on top. It is a whole fish so yes, there are bones. (4/5)- Crispy rice salad ($18): lettuce, red chili jam, peanut, crispy rice. I really enjoyed the crispy rice in the salad, it added a nice texture to it. (3/5)- Pork Jowl: the pork melts in your mouth and is nicely seasoned. Also comes with a side of their fish sauce type sauce - so good! (4/5)- Crab claws: It was about 6 pieces of tiny crab claws for $6. When I say tiny, literally half a bite. The green sauce that came on it though was amazing. (4/5 for the sauce)- Steak: the only steak option under the proteins list on the menu - came with this garlic aioli that I never would've guessed was garlic, tasted a bit bitter? The steak was cooked to a medium rare which is what we wanted, but overall the entrée itself wasn't something that I was wowed by. (3/5)- Green curry with catfish: not much catfish, maybe enough for 1 small bite for each person. The green curry tasted fresh, ok dish. (3/5)- Mushroom salad?: we ordered the beef tartare and accidentally received the mushroom salad. The waiter let us keep it to try and took it off our order but we never got the beef tartare at all lol. The mushroom held the seasoning/sauce of this dish rly well, just soaked it right up. Good mix of saltiness and umami. (3/5) Overall, glad I finally got to try this place.

Flavors were good but expensive for what you get. We ordered the green curry and there was just a small bowl with hardly any meet in it for around $30. The menu is small, not problem with that, but was hoping in more variety in the food offered. The whole flounder was probably the best thing we had.We also were seated at a table right underneath the AC vent and had water dripping on us. The tables didn't have too much space in between so we couldn't really move around.

Amazing small restaurant in middle of neighborhood. Thai food that is not like a typical American Thai restaurant ( eg no Pad Thai). We ordered green curry, couple of apps including pork meat balls, and green curry with whole fish. Service was good, outside patio seating wonderful, drinks were well made. Absolutely a gem and close to ATL airport area.

It's phenomenal how every thing you could order here is filled with an abundance of flavor in every bite. The mignonette for the oysters, the sauce for the crudo, the herbs in the crispy rice salad, and the chickpea tofu I can only assume is made in house. Everything was so delicious! Service was great!

100% recommend. Came to Atlanta for a work trip and this restaurant was 15 minutes away from my hotel. Ambiance was great and not the mention the Fruit Salad I got was so refreshing and so good!!! Their steak entree was also amazing. 10/10 for food for me ! Have to get both the fruit salad and steak!

SO SO SO GOOD, I can't recommend enough and can't wait to go back!! I've been wanting to come here for a while, especially since they got a Michelin Guide mention. Definitely make reservations (my friend and I were able to snag a late reservation at 9p, so check well in advance!). They have a small parking lot and we were able to find parking, but there's also plenty of street and parallel parking as well. Inside, I loved the decor and it totally transforms and takes you to a new experience. Our waitstaff was super nice and gave us great recs on how to navigate the menu and what their favorite drinks were. I had the Sharpie Mustache which was super interesting but I loved the story behind its creation. We ended up getting the crispy rice salad, red curry with beef, a pork dish, and octopus. Our server told us that one of the chef's mom was actually in town and in the kitchen on curry duty which was super cool. The crispy rice salad lived up to the hype and this is definitely a can't miss. It was so fresh and herby and I loved the chili jam in it. The red curry was absolutely delicious and homey, and the beef was so tender. The octopus was pretty decent, but the pork simply fell apart and was such a tender bite. Overall, what a great concept and I cannot wait to come back and check out this rotating menu!!

Great food in a super cute spot. They have a smallish parking lot considering how busy it is but there is plenty of street parking, you will definitely find a spot close by without having to parallel park or anything. Service was very good, our server gave helpful recommendations and was very attentive. For drinks I did the southside sizzle which was good but not my favorite, and then our server recommended me their white blend which I loved. My husband got the green drink which was soooo good.We split the crispy rice salad which was my favorite thing we ate. Great flavor, fresh ingredients, rice was a nice texture. My husband got the steak and sticky rice which he really liked.I ordered the pork and shrimp meatball soup which was so flavorful and very very filling, don't be concerned about the soup not being enough for an entree. After it was brought out, a server who wasn't even ours ran over with a deeper soup spoon, and then our server followed up by running out deeper bowls and a serving spoon so my husband and I could share and eat it easier. I would have been perfectly fine eating it with the bowl/spoon that was initially provided with, so I really appreciated them bringing all the extra stuff out! Overall, cute spot with good, flavorful food.

Talat is an underrated icon. Personally one of my favorite thai spotsIn atlanta. It's a casually elevated restaurant with amazing food and cocktails. Most recently I went during the middle of the week and the energy was amazing. They offer great specials and host thoughtful communal events around food. Last time I was there I had their flank steak, $5 mini martini special, and a side of rice. Such a great meal, that I'm thinking about it 3 weeks later. Great service, great vibes, and amazing cookery! I featured them a while back in my underrated gems in atlanta series because they just deserve so much more attention. Check out Talat and treat yourself. (For more reviews check out my IG: bswank_ and TikTok: bswankk)

Talat Market's crispy rice salad is a delightful symphony of flavors and textures. The crispy rice provides a satisfying crunch, while the sweet and spicy kick from the red chili jam adds an unexpected and mouthwatering twist. Savory herbs and zesty balance the dish perfectly, creating a vibrant and refreshing experience for the palate. Each bite offers a tantalizing blend of sweet, savory, and zesty notes, making this salad an absolute must-try for anyone seeking a bold and flavorful culinary adventure. I've had the crispy rice salad multiple times. Each time tastes different, but equally as delicious!
