Delivery took longer than expected. Food was warm but Flavorless..shrimp and chicken was overcooked. Had salmon and shrimp Alfredo that was overcooked with no flavor and the alfredo was so thin and liquidly. Everything was OVERCOOKED . My family and I ordered from Takka Grill and Shrimpies this evening. They came highly recommended by my aunt and our meal did not disappoint. The four of us ladies ordered the exact same thing but before I get into the food itself let me say it's always a plus when a seafood restaurant delivers and that all four of our meals were stapled shut and securely wrapped which is a pretty big deal when your meal is swimming in a luscious buttery sauce.We each had the snow crab with corn on the cob and broccoli and two orders of the Cajun shrimp. Each platter had two gloriously large clusters that were seasoned with old bay and steamed to perfection. The shrimp were a good size and also steamed and seasoned well. The red sauce they serve with it was a sort of mix of cocktail and hot sauce. There was an almost hour wait but we didn't mind especially when our meal arrived piping hot! All of us were full and satisfied.

Okay. So the manager or the person that takes the deliveries ---who by the way identified the establishment to be "his store" --- was far beyond impolite and rude. I guess tonight wasn't the right night to order delivery. I had intended to order some comfort food and ended up getting a guy who refused to adjust or be bothered with my order. According to his rules: additional notes under the special requests tab when making the order is not allowed. I called to see if they got my online order and to see was included in the lamb steak meal to make sure that the notes I had for tomatoes, lettuce, peppers and onions were there. He replied just lamb meat and steak. I had reiterated what I had noted in the order and he immediately responded by saying: "We can't do that for you. You have to call EatStreet because that's who you paid. You didn't pay my company, you pay EatStreet so go to them and cancel or change the order. " I was very polite and I was like okay, ok I see. I am extremely hungry but that doesn't mean that I'll just tolerate bad service for some food. No way! I didn't get EatStreet the first time... So I went ahead and explained that on the emailed receipt that I received there was a sentence that stated I needed to contact Takka Grill directly if there were any issues or changes to my order. He persisted: "We already started your order and we are not going to change it because EatStreet need to pay us.... To add that stuff is extra." He sounded so impatient and upset. I don't know if it was his heavy accent that made it seem that way or maybe it was his personality. I then told him that all I was trying to do was reorder or add the extra stuff I wanted to the order and I didn't mind paying extra. He told me that even with grub hub or any other online service I would have to contact them if I had to change an order. All I was thinking was--- that's not true and why are you being so difficult at 12PM. I called EatStreet and the representative explained that whatever I ordered from that particular restaurant, was in fact the restaurant's responsibility and if there were extras EatStreet would just add it to the bill. The representative also said that it was a shame that the company owner was so misinformed and that they would have to call him to focus his responsibilities as a listed restaurant on EatStreet. Now I had a intense all day procedure done today and came home to this. I have no emotions to spare at this point. Q: If you were in that situation, would you have ignored his behavior and continued the order?Q: Would you give them a second try to redeem themselves? I just wanted some awesome food to cheer me up!!! Guess today was. Just. Not. My. Day.

Food was horrible. Ordered a steak and curly fries. It was a waste of $15. We didn't even eat any of the fries because of how soggy they were. Asked for raw onions on the side for the steak sandwich, didn't get that. The "foot long" steak was small and dried out. When we arrived to pick up the order, we were told it wasn't ready. 10 minutes go by and another employee asked what the name was on the order again- turns out, it was ready the whole time, just sitting there getting cold and soggy. I should have went back inside and asked for refund. Literally took three bites of the steak and didn't have any of the fries. We couldn't even force it down. Definitely will not be back.

Great place to grab a drink and chill. Prices are nice and reasonable. It's a little grungy inside but the bartenders are friendly and the food is good. I've had the lamb, grilled shrimp and chicken. All were great. there's a DJ on the weekends. I wouldn't travel to come here but it's a solid spot if you live in the neighborhood.

First time ordering from this place due to craving seafood. The Alaskan crab legs were okay as they were drenched in butter & water. The shrimps were pretty good and a nice size. The downfall was their fish platter. It was overcooked, the Mac & cheese was nasty, and the broccoli was undercooked.
