Tacos y Burritos California

From what I saw there weren't a lot of Taquerias out in Clayton. I was glad my friend knew about this place. It's a genuine local Taqueria actually run by Latinos...I'm presuming Mexican. My Spanish is rusty, but it sounded Mexican to me. The food comes out fast, is tasty and has good size portions. This is a Taqueria, so don't expect any thing fancy. The venue is big with plenty of seating and they have a large, extensive menu. Mexican:~ BURRITO MOJADO (Tripa) - 4/5No complaints. A good sized tasty wet burrito with red sauce. I did ask for the Tripas to be extra Crispy. Looks like they didn't get the memo...it's OK. It was still tasty. ~ Michelada (w/ Modelo Negro) - 4/5One big tasty Michelada made with Modelo Negro to compliment my hearty Burrito. You get to pick your beer, my choice was Modelo Negro. I was so stuffed afterwards...needed a nap...do not reccomend finishing everything!I'd stop by here any time!

Found this place via yelp while passing through the area and super glad we stopped. You order at the front when you walk in - huge extensive menu. Once order placed you seat yourself and wait for your ticket number to be called. You also clear your own table. While that all seems like a lot, food was worth it. I got chicken flautas with rice and beans and my teen got birria tacos (without onions and cilantro). Taste was amazing for all items. Amount of food for price was also great. Located end of a small shopping center. A good amount of tables inside, music playing and tvs on walls.

The burritos here and huge and amazing!!! One can be two meals. I mean, for someone else. Not me. :)

Legit Mexican food. Make sure to listen for your number as everything else is in Spanish. Corn tortillas, full jalapeños, cooked onions, cut-up steak, and much more. You order at the counter and seat yourself. Place was full of local Mexican families, so you know the food has to be good.

Been here a few times and the food is really good what i love about this place it's authentic Mexican food. Restaurant is always clean and the workers are nice. It's not your typical restaurant that you get seated and waitered. You order and wait until your number gets called and you can seat we're ever you want. I got steak taco and chicken tamales. Tamales a little on the dry side but still ok and hubby got fish plate. Overall I highly recommend!!

Taco review. I've been challenged to find California style tacos until now. TyB is special because they make buche tacos, which are delish! I over ordered so I could try a few things: chicken tamale, pork tamale and shrimp tacos ( measure of a great taco)The buche tacos were bomb- full of umami sprinkled with onions and cilantro. Just one tortilla, tho, which makes it a little messier to eat. The shrimp taco was a tasty mystery. A lot of crunch from cabbage (I think) but the shrimp were pre-grilled so not as juicy. No batter-yay!Sadly, the tamales were lacking. Both were dry and bland. Skip. I'm looking forward to trying a burrito.

Man! We really enjoyed this-- we stopped by during a very busy day and got a few tacos. Everything was flavorful, the pico was fresh and delicious, and it delivered on the promise of Mexicano California in North Carolina. The fish in the fish taco was fried perfectly, and shrimp in the shrimp taco was excellent as was the chicken taco. There is a salsa bar that includes interesting combos of marinated carrots and onions (much better than it sounds, I promise!) as well as the usual fare with jalapeño salsa, red salsa, and the like.The chips and queso were merely ok-- I don't think they specialize in this, which is fine by me--there were a ton of other great options. The menu is extensive and by its extensive nature a little confusing. We got a glimpse of other folks eating platters that included a ton of veggies -- we will definitely be back to try more options. Yum!

My husband and I order the Texas Fajitas from here almost every other week. Call it an addiction, it's spectacular. There's so much food, it feeds us for days, is excellent quality, and doesn't hurt our stomachs. My husband is from California, and he approves.

Best Mexican food in the area. Al pastor is great, tastes like Al pastor not bbq pork. Carne asada is also fantastic, tender and flavorful. Refried beans are also good. I enjoy their tacos, good street tacos. Definitely recommend, worth a drive out to Clayton.

Great place with good food and very nice staff. Highly recommend. Can't say enough but I have to use 85 characters. Great restaurant.
