Tacos La Abuela

Yes so worth the U-turn . On a Sunday morning ready to drive back up north . This is marked on my road trips for sure . The corn tortillas are so fresh as homemade. And the taco meat was so tender and juicy every bite was worth the great calories "" 100 legit place . Thank you , I highly recommend this nice stop ., it has patio seating with a shelter from the sun . And enough fans for this summer heat .

5 stars for the Tacos they were great, wish the girl serving had more of a friendly presence, even though I was extremely nice and smiled at her she was just not that person, maybe a bad day or because she was alone I'm not sure but to my Hispanics that I always encounter, they're always so happy, friendly and kind. Even more so when I speak in Spanish and greet them with a good morning and leave them with a God bless you. Her presence bummed me out. But hey, to each its own. Take my money either way the breakfast tacos were bomb and their homemade sauces. Delish! And that's what I came for not for a friend, lol.

My husband and I have eaten here multiple times now, we've ordered breakfast tacos, a quesadilla and the chicken empanadas. Each time we've ordered the food is made to order and comes out fresh, with home made tortillas! Everything we've tried so far has been delicious and this place has quickly become one of our fav stops in the area!

Best Mexican food in the woodlands area. Very affordable as well. My boyfriend is a chilaquiles fan and he said this place has the best chilaquiles he has ever had, better than the ones he's had in Mexico City. Please go here! You won't regret it!
