Great quality tacos downtown. $2 Taco Tuesday is a pretty good deal. Tacos are large. The service fee that gets auto-added to the bill seemed unreasonable. Especially since you order on a screen. Overall, good experience for a quick dinner.

Tacos El Porky used to be fantastic, offering authentic tacos for $2 USD--great value for quality. But now, each taco costs $5.50, plus a 15% service fee. Let me tell you about the service: In Mexico, you get to choose from a variety of salsas to customize your tacos, and limes are always plentiful (we Mexicans love lime!). I asked the server not to put their cilantro-based salsa on my tacos (which isn't an authentic salsa, and I don't like it), and I specifically requested only salsa verde. They seemed offended and told me that salsa verde wasn't meant for the tacos I ordered. After that, the server pointed me to a self-order screen and said she was too busy to help. What really bothered me was being asked to pay a 15% service fee for service I didn't receive. The restaurant itself is outdated and dirty, with terrible restrooms. And at $5.50 per taco? It's just not worth it. You're better off going to places like Koko, Bakan, Tacombi, or Tacology--equally 'authentic' but with better pricing, service, and ambiance. Avoid this place at all costs.

The flavor of the food here was good. The guac was yummy, chicharron tacos were also good and al pastor tacos were decent. Unfortunately, bcuz of how much we spent, I HAVE to mention that the food was not at all filling. It's a hole in the wall place so I wasn't expecting anything over the top but when they served us our plate, I immediately noticed that Portions were very small. They were very conservative with toppings and the tortilla was also pretty small. I expected a smaller sized tortilla but these one felt even more mini sized than the small corn tortillas I buy from the store (I get Guerrero, it's the best). I'm used to Mexican spots loading up the tortillas with condiments (lived in Mexico for a bit so it's a sound expectation in my point of view). There was barely anything inside the taco besides the meat and I asked for all the toppings. I'm mostly disappointed bcuz we Paid almost $50 for two people: 6 tacos, guac and chips and a horchata and we were not at all full. $50 anywhere else could and should get us a decent amount of food. At least enough to fill us up. I won't be returning for this reason. Go to the Taco Stand instead. Way better bang for your buck

Tacos El Porky was recommended by a couple of people I know so I took advantage of my jury duty day to try them out. The location is tiny, only a handful of tables and chairs. The staff was ok, my order took long considering I was one of the first people there. The tacos were good; small, but tasty. However I cannot justify paying nearly $6 per taco, that's straight up robbery. Although I did enjoy the food, there are much better, and cheaper, Taquerias in Miami.

Worst tacos I've ever had. And they charge for every single thing extra like a lime slice and hot sauce. Crazy.

Came on Taco Tuesdays and yes busy of course great price true but the tacos para mi estaban muy salados. Im a huge fan of puerco meat but this was too much for me personally. Grabbed the avocado and chips and the avocado perfect but the chips bien tiesos. Las salsas están ricos no pican. El lugar esta más o menos no es lujoso pero será los colores pero se mira sucio. Los empleados están atentos. Ambiente no avía tal vez porque estaba ocupado.

I was visiting Miami for a work trip and stopped by Tacos El Porky for lunch from the recommendations of my coworkers. I stopped by for their taco Tuesday deal and tried their Al pastor and Cochi tacos. Both tacos were fantastic and the pairing salsas had a lot of flavor. I had 4 tacos and wish I ordered 8, some of the best tacos I've had.

A local recommended this spot to us. I'm from SoCal so I know what good tacos taste like. This place is comparable to Tacos el Gordo in San Diego, CA and Las Vegas. Get the Gringa taco bc it comes with 2. The cheese pull was strong.
