Tacos El Jaibo

I just fell in love with this freaking salsa. Great food, great service, great people - and best of all NEW MANAGEMENT! If you haven't tried the tacos lately, then it's like you haven't tried them at all. Love this little gem!

I love Tacos El Jaibo on Bellaire is one of my favorite Mexican places. When I heard they opened a new location I was eager to try it. Unfortunately it was not as good. I ordered tacos de tripa and I was asked if I wanted soft tripa or crispy. I personally prefer soft tripa because I can taste the flavor of the tripa more. Anyway, I asked for soft tripa as I do at the Bellaire location but when they brought me my tacos the tripa was very crispy ... tooMuch for my taste, so I sent the plate back and asked for soft tripa, they were very polite and took my plate back. Then Again they brought me very crispy tripa. Because i don't like tripa like that I couldn't eat my tripa tacos and that was very disappointing. I also ordered Enmoladas, the mole had a little bit of an aftertaste and I definitely wouldn't order it again. Their chips and salsa were also just ok, the sauces had no flavor compared to the other location. The staff was very polite but I'll stick to the Bellaire location!

We just went on Sunday to have lunch and the service was very good. The food was served at a promt time and well prepared. The place smelled clean, looked clean and inviting for customers. My boyfriend ate a Tampiquena plate and he enjoyed it quite well. I ordered the pastor plate and it was and my son ate his delicious beef tacos and my rice and beans that were also very tasty. Will go again :)

Definition of hole-in-the-wall. I would definitely pass this place up if I hadn't heard about it. I don't usually drink anything besides water, but their horchata is amazing. It is smooth, creamy, and has the perfect touch of cinnamon. Out of the 5 different tacos that I've tried, they have all been amazing. Tortillas are perfectly made, meat is well-marinated, and the cheese perfectly melted. The fish ceviche was a bit too sour for me, but the rest of my family enjoyed it. Also, their house made salsas are THE BEST. Their creamy green salsa mixed with their chunky red salsa is addicting.

Tacos El Jaibo has been one of my favorite restaurants for years, I'm so glad they opened a location closer to my house because I've had to drive 30 minutes for their food for the past 2 years. The food here is exactly the same as the original location. Everything was perfect and the service was excellent. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Excellent breakfast tacos! I live far from this restaurant but dont mind the drive given how delicious their tacos truly are. Keep up the excellent work guys.

Food and service have always been great. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. This place is the gift that keeps on giving. The birria is my go-to. I tried suadero for the first time on their handmade tortillas - might go back again today.

Love it! Food is always fresh and authentic and comes with so much!! Nice and clean place. Bar area is nice and tv's are everywhere. They have specials pretty much every day. Tuesday and Wednesday are taco deals that are so good and cheap! Customer service is also always great! This place is a gem! 5 stars for sure!!

They open at 7. Wasn't open until 715. Website says tacos are 1.75 I get here she says no $2.00. I asked where the manager was. She said she didn't know. I asked her what did she know and she said she don't know. Oh I can do without ordering from this place ever again.
