Tacoland Mex-Mex Tacos

They seem to be closed til June. Sure wish someone would've told me before I drove over here.

I used to come here all the time for breakfast. Their fresh made tacos were outstanding. Since the switch to pre-made eggs, they just don't taste the same. Still good and worth the cost, but only something I get every now and then when I need a fix.

Horrible customer service.. i walked in the manager looked me dead in my face & then proceeded to speak to his employee.. it takes TWO seconds to say "hey welcome in"..

Did you hear about the exploding Mexican restaurant?We've found the tortas and burritos, but where did the Tacoland?So this place has really nice service but very disappointing products. It's also a little more expensive than the "real" Mexican places we go to a lot (Tostada Regia on Long Point and La Bala on Bellaire). I'd be torn between at 3 for the products and a 4 for the service and decor, but what tips the scales to a 4 are the handmade tortillas. Much better than the standard, stock ones, and really improved the taste of the tacos. Didn't taste like anything I've had in Mexico or at real Mexican places, but still some innovative stuff, if a little Americanized and with American pricing.And 4 stars is the least I can do considering it's a family business and a for factoring in the nice service. This is definitely more Fusion and less real Mexican, but I'd go back for the handmade tortilla tacos lol.

We needed something quick, and this place did not disappoint. Walked up, ordered, great customer service and food was out in 10 minutes or so. Delicious torta had a nice spicy kick and the street tacos were just the right size. Highly recommend.

I'm not aware of many places offering breakfast tacos that are partnering with UberEats, but Tacoland in Cypress pops up every time my office is looking for a last minute breakfast treat and has not disappointed us at all.I've tried the Max and King Ranchero tacos, but my coworkers have had the Uncle Pancho and chorizo/egg/cheese. Everything has been great! I especially appreciate the multiple vegetarian options. I also opt to get the homemade corn tortillas for .35 extra and they are absolutely delicious! Probably some of the best corn tortillas I've ever had (but honestly, the best that even come to mind). Their green salsa isn't very spicy and is sort of tomatillo-ish, but adds some good flavor. The tacos have never been greasy either and although I don't always mind a little grease, it's definitely a plus when they're not soaked and soggy. They're not the cheapest tacos or most convenient if you're located in central Houston, but they're definitely delicious and worth it to me.

The food was good. Never eaten this before. Great taco size and fast delivery. Will get buy again.

This is a breakfast review. Today I picked up their 12 breakfast taco combo and their 10 tamale combo to bring to the office. The items were a hit and everyone enjoyed them. I prefer the bacon and chirizo breakfast tacos and would say the potato tacoes were the least popular. Their tamales were delicious!Ordering was easy and the food came out quickly. I'll definitely be back!

My husband and I have been coming here for a while. I like the fajita beef street tacos. I add avocados and cheese($2 extra). I also ask for "just grilled onions." They are very filling. The guacamole is made fresh when you order it. It is so good. It is always clean and quiet inside. Just a little hint: if you are on Telge Rd. you can turn into the gas station (on the corner) and go behind it to get to Tacoland. Also, look on the back of HEB receipts for coupons. Food=5Return=5

Walked straight up to the counter and ordered from the steam tables. The 2 ladies were friendly.5 barbacoa street tacos with avocado and grilled onions. Decent barbacoa but just a tad bit too fatty.I picked out about 1/3 of the fat out of the tacos, what was left did have good flavor. Don't get me wrong, It wasn't greasy, just had too many chunks of fat that you could pick out.Asado de puerco torta. Nice big portion. They add rice to their tortas so I asked for mine without it. The Asado meat was tender and had a very mild kick to it, flavorful not overpowering. I would suggest that you ask for your meats to be drained well as the torta bread was soggy on mine from the extra juices. Also ask that they drain the lettuce as well since they have it soaking in water and this will also add to the moisture. They do not have just tomatoes so the more authentic Torta is not what you would get here.Beans, meat, cheese, crema, lettuce, and tomatoes is your well known authentic torta. They add rice to theirs and pico if you want tomatoes not slices of tomatoes.
