Taco Real

You know the food is good when the line goes around the room. The service was great, the prices reasonable, and it is the kind of taco place that makes everything fresh for the day. The ambiance is what you would expect from a local restaurant that caters to the trades. If you want fancy, go somewhere else, but if you want first class tacos without a bunch of pretense, this is the place.

Amazingly authentic gulf coast Mexican food. Here for breakfast tacos and they were awesome! Popular place with locals. Full of early morning workers getting the most important meal of the day. Service was quick. Nice and clean inside.

Wow. We were hungry and took advantage of an accident on 59/69 to pull over and I picked this in preference to McDonald's and Taco Bell. Great decision. Variety plate of chicken fajitas, fresh nopalitos, rice, and beans and 3 fresh handmade tortillas and fresh tomatillo sauce $7.99. Quesadilla with any topping, Glenda chose the grilled chicken, $2.99. Cans of Diet Coke at $1.29 each. Great, friendly, very fresh and flavorful food.

OMGeeee! I love this place. I've never had tortillas this fresh. It tasted like somebody's abuelita was in the kitchen using her secret recipe. I tried a Gordita with steak fajita meat and then a carnitas taco. Both delish.. I'm only in Houston for a few more days but I'd gladly come back here again before I leave.

This is my go-to lunch spot. The tortillas are freshly made, the meats are well seasoned, and they do not skimp out on the portions. The chicken fajitas, fajitas a la Mexicana, and breakfast tacos are my recommendations. I usually get 3 tacos, and for a big fella like me, that's more than enough.They have coolers with a pretty good selection of drinks, from your usual coke, sprite, teas, to the a variety of Mexican sodas.This is quite possibly my favorite restaurant right now, I cannot stress it enough, if you're craving tacos, go to Taco Real!!!!The only reason it is not 5 stars is because they could be a little faster with their service, but when the food is this good, that wait might just be worth it.

Taco real is usually a go to ,but todays purchase was very disappointing. The egg was burnt and without flavor. First time we have this problem, hoping this isn't an ongoing issue with them from now on.I would hate to have to find a new place

I arrived this morning at the restaurant and nothing was prepared or ready to serve. They had no beans, no meat, or flour tortilla. I asked for oatmeal and was told the Atole technician did not come to work. The tall Italian female that serves the food is very stingy when serving other females but very very generous when serving male patrons.

Good food . I like to come to this place every time I get a chance. Know you can also order online at any of their four locations. Ladies always working hard everyday, super spacious for big family.

Horrible service the ladies back there don't have anything organize every time I go there I gotta wait at least 15 mins while everyone behind me is skipping they have 20 ppl on the back making tortillas but they never have tortillas do not recommend
