Taco House

This was my first time to Taco House! The food is as expected, since most items are only a couple of dollars. I had a soft shell taco and the famous cheese enchiladas. Both were good... do not expect gourmet food here!However, it is a Denver staple and a must try if you are living in the area and want to "try it once". My server was soooo friendly... it really made it a better experience.

This is my 2nd visit. Classic fast food Mexican. This is one of their 2 locations in Denver. I got a large iced tea with lemon. Free refills. I got 3 Beef tacos with lots of shredded cheese and picante sauce. They have a spicier hot sauce. Well cooked meat, no grease. I also got a guacamole tostada for $2.75 & 2 green chili smothered tamales for $4 each. The wait staff was quick and pleasant to speak with. My order came out correctly. Their menu prices have not increased. Soft music was playing even though several groups of people arrived after I came in. The staff was not flustered. A nice meal for $18.75 + tax & tip.

Great food and friendly staff. They have a really yummy cheesy enchilada sauce that goes on burritos.

IFKYK! This place is awesome. Growing up in Denver, you grow up going to Taco House. My family and I have been eating at Taco House since the 70's. We always get the the CLASSIC #4, it is hands down the BEST. The cheese, the sauce, the tostada chips covered in queso, beans and guac. Unbeatable and so nostalgic. We also love their chips and salsa. This location is CLEAN! They have a hard working, friendly staff.

It was freezing weather yesterday, and the bus was 55 minutes delayed, so I came in here. Immediately, greeted with a very friendly person, next, the waitress, was so awesome. They bring you chips and water if you eat in, and the food is okay, but the service is what I would come back for! My burrito was $4, water $0, so I dropped them a fat tip!

NINE DOLLARS FOR A COMBO PLATE?!?! LETS GOO!! This waffle house-esque Mexican sit-down restaurant is the exact aura i am looking for when i am late night drunk on a random thursday. bring your friends, your mom, your goldfish, your gun (its in Colfax LMFAO). the green chile soup is mwwahh! the chile chicken burrito was licked clean from my plate. slay. i shall be back soon, Taco HOME.

Tacos and Dr Pepper is better here, I will keep on coming here than del taco and Taco Bell

This is the one thing from my youth that is consistent!Always taste like it should!And the staff is a great group of folks. I'd eat there everyday if my family would let me! Lol

First visit at this historic restaurant in Lakewood . Excellent service and friendly staff. I tried a combo plate. Cheese enchiladas were tasty. Grand beef taco and tostada so so. Probably would not order again. Food inexpensive and served quickly. I had sampled the packaged enchilada sauce before Covid-it was quite tasty. Not sure if they still sell it but worth a try if they do.

I've been eating here since I was a kid. It's so traditional, the food tastes the same and I love it here! The food is really good, and each bite reminds me of eating there with my family.
