I found this place on Yelp on a very rare Saturday morning where my puppies let me sleep until 10:30am. By the time my husband and I got around to making a decision on breakfast or lunch, it was almost noon. El Rey and Taco Canana are the two closest spots to our house, but they both stopped breakfast tacos at 12pm, and at 11:56am, I knew I wouldn't make it to either place on time. Yelp to my rescue! The reviews were pretty good, and it was just a few minutes from my house, so I have it a shot.LET ME TELL YOU that I have been on the hunt for good, real breakfast tacos on this side of town since I moved from Pearland almost 2 years ago. WE FINALLY FOUND OUR SPOT for breakfast tacos. You might find it a bit sketchy that it is inside a gas station, but that does not matter at all! Big, freshly homemade tortillas, filled with all the good stuff you want. The sweet lady cooks them when you order them, so everything is piping hot and delicious. They have other things too, like quesadillas, fajita tacos, etc., but I'll have to go back and taste those. My husband got a couple chorizo, egg & cheese tacos, and said they were delicious. I had a bacon, egg & cheese taco with a potato, egg, & cheese taco, and they tasted like they came straight from Heaven! The red salsa they give you is spicy and a nice complement to the tacos as well. I didn't try the green salsa though, my husband said it was okay, and he likes the red salsa much better. I was so excited watching her make them I forgot to take a picture when I got home before I gobbled them up!Like I said earlier, it is inside the gas station, but it is a pretty small place, so when you walk in the front door and look to the right, you can easily see the cash register and the taco counter. You order from the little lady and she gives you a ticket to pay at the cash register while she makes your order. One of the best parts, other than how delicious, is how cheap it is! We got 5 huge tacos for $10. I think it's close to the same price as similar tacos from taco cabana, but these are significantly bigger, so definitely a better value! If you're looking for good tasting, cheap, breakfast tacos, you don't need to look any further!

I was craving some breakfast tacos & decided to check out this place due to the glowing yelp reviews and the fact that it was very close to my house. So on a rainy morning, after 9am, I ventured here hoping for the best. However I was sadly disappointed with the tacos. They were nothing special. I tried the beef fajitas taco and the breakfast egg and potatoes taco to go. Eh. I'm sure my whole experience was soured by the fact that I do not speak Spanish and they were cold and rude to me. Everyone waiting or ordering was a Hispanic male and obviously knew what they wanted. However, I was the only one waiting to order when I walked in and the lady totally ignored me while she was filling the pending prior orders. So I patiently waited, I'm kind of shy. After 3-4 frustrating mins, another Hispanic male walked up behind me to wait to order & wouldn't u know it, she looks up and asks HIM what he wanted, just looking right through me. By now, I was annoyed, but thankfully he told her in Spanish that I was before him. She curtly took my order & gave me the receipt with no instructions whatsoever. (I had to figure out that I pay the gas station guy with the receipt. At least he seemed friendly) While I was waiting for my order, literally the 4 males who ordered after me got their orders filled. Of course. Overall, the tacos made to order, warm, and fresh. The egg & potato was bland. However, they treated me like they did not want my business because I was obviously not the clientele they cater to. So be it, I'll take my money elsewhere. Another Yelp fail.

We moved into the area a couple of months ago and discovered this place on yelp and let me tell you... best breakfast tacos ever!!! They're a little hidden, they are located inside the fuel expo gas station. We haven't tried their lunch menu but their breakfast is the bomb!!!

This place is inside of the gas station on the corner, you'll miss it if you aren't looking for it as the signage is pretty small. The flour tortillas are great, and I had three different tacos and I was not disappointed. There's two small card tables to sit at, so most of the stuff is to go, ladies are nice, don't speak much English. I would definitely come back.

Count on getting it to go (only 1 table). Great street tacos with one critical element many miss, excellent hot sauce! (The green sauce)They do run out of things but they have enough variety to get you something good if they are out of what you wanted. Place is inside the Fuel Expo "Food Mart". The woman running it is very nice! Prices very reasonable.

You won't believe me when I say this, but this is the best taqueria in Houston. You have to park in the Fuel Expo (a gas station) in the corner of West Little York and Eldridge. You enter the gas station, and in the back, there's this "Taco Corner" where a lady and her daughters serves up Mexican food from a stand. Every day at lunch, local Mexican patrons support the establishment (there are two small tables in front of the stand to eat during lunch hour), because it's cheap, and the food is delicious. My family lives in the neighborhood behind the gas station, so we always go there for tacos. If you order the #1, which are three taquitos / street tacos, you won't be disappointed. I always get the fajita beef with everything on. She cooks the wheat flour tortilla on the stove-stop, and then gives a healthy portion of fajita steak in one steaming flour vessel. She then tops everything off with minced onions, fresh cilantro, and a dollop of fresh-cut avocado. I always ask for the green salsa on the side -- it has a lot of heat! She bundles everything up for you, and you have to pay with the receipt at the gas station clerk in the front. For three tacos ($1.69 each x 3), the title is about $5.49. It's delicious, mouth-watering, and I will always come back for more.
