I had a surprise party on 6/1/2024 in burlington ncIt was a drop off catering.... Till this day 6/11 my family and friends are still talking about how fresh and flavorful the food was !! Everything was labeled so everyone knew what it was and there was also a vegan option...Thanks for helping make my 50th Birthday one to remember !!

I hadn't planned to eat here, but after purchasing a beverage for the gas station next door, I smelled delicious Tex Mex food and decided to follow it. This brings me to Ta Contento! I was sold the moment I saw the Birria Tacos advertisement. I decided to give it a shot! I placed an order, and the total cost was $15. I had high expectations given the price! The tacos were so worth it after a few bites! WOW! The dipping sauce was delicious, with a burst of flavor in every bite. The tacos appear small, but the meat is not skimpy. I was very impressed and eager to try other items on the menu in the near future.TAKE MY MONEY!

The Torta is the bomb. I have tried a few options on the menu. The best Mexican spot near by for sure.

Pleasantly surprised by this laid back yet modern atmosphere. But the best part is the food. I was not disappointed for lunch. Friendly staff and prompt service. Limited seating inside but they have the drive thru window open now if you want to go that route.The ACP was better than more and I really liked the soy chorizo queso chips. The chips were fresh, not greasy or salty. I'll definitely be back and try some of the other stuff that looked interesting on the menu.

The burrito was one of the best had and I highly recommend! The service is friendly and fast and I love the variety of hot sauces.

Solid, good, very fresh food. Mild tasting. Very reasonably priced--generous portions. Pleasant modern vibe inside-- pleasant to dine in. Very friendly service. Will return. One suggestion-- make sure you offer more varieties of salsa, also for those who like their food spicier

So glad I stumbled upon this food truck!The food was pretty tasty. I had a friend order the burrito, his only complaint was it was rolled pretty wide so it was hard to eat. He had a hard time picking it up and once he did he couldn't put it back down because it was falling apart. I ordered the ACS, shrimp the rice and queso. Queso was on point. Shrimp cooked perfectly. Rice cooked beautifully. It was a great lunch!The only reason it received 4 stars instead of three was the speed. I think we stood in line for an hour. For about 30 minutes the line wasn't even moving. Once it started moving it rolled pretty quickly. I don't know what the hold up in the kitchen was but that was one of the longest waits I've ever had for a food truck. Overall though, food was great! If I see them again I'll definitely be stopping in for a bite!

Always ate of their food truck and happy to visit their brick and mortar location. Great people, good food. I am particularly fond of the arroz con pollo, taco salad with steak and the beef empanadas. I have lately just been stopping in for the empanadas with a side of queso for dipping!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Who would have thought that a restaurant located right next to a gas station would be so accommodating to someone with Celiac disease?!? The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and I was happy to find that they were very knowledgeable about cross contamination and allergies as well. I ordered the arroz con chori pollo bowl, and it was very good! I didn't eat the chips because I was not sure if they were in a shared fryer. When we were speaking with the owner (Nora, I think), she told us that the chips are prepared in its' own dedicated fryer, and they are making empanadas that are gluten free as well. So happy to find a place where the chips are safe to eat! There were a number options available that were marked as gluten free. We will definitely be making this one of our regular spots to eat! Great food, friendly staff, and a place where I can eat without any worries!

This place is amazing! Best Mexican food around for and they have a drive thru ! The quality is superb and so fresh. The bowls are great and they have tamales everyday It's a must do !
