When we walked up it kind of looked like a hole in the wall and we were excited ti try the food! The staff was very friendly and kept a close eye on us (in the best way) to perfectly time our soup, dumplings and main course! The restaurant was very clean!Dumplings are AMAZING... if you get nothing else get these and crispy! You will not regret. The sizzling rice soup was good too and had more veggies in it than we are used to, it was pretty hearty! The rice was rice and I'm not sure I would get the fried rice again, seemed like it just had soy sauce added. The Kung Pao chicken was very good as was the beef. We will definitely stop back by when in the area!

Service here was quick and concise. The authentic waitress came to the table and took our order with a pen and a pad of paper! The food came out quickly and it was hot and freshly prepared, but my sweet and sour chicken was drowning in sauce almost to the point where it was overpowering the taste over everything else. Service was a little slow, but our waitress was very friendly & accommodating. Food was good, a little over-sauced, but tasty. FYI the sesame tofu is a peanut butter-based sauce which can be a little overpowering if you have a bite with lots of it, & also stores very thick in the fridge before it's heated up. It was still tasty, but just a little different than what I'm used to. Scallion pancakes were fantastic - a little thicker & denser than what we are used to, but quite delicious, especially with the sauce. Huge portion sizes, reasonable prices, I would definitely come here again.

I've been coming here for decades and the food has always been delicious. Tonight I ordered Kung Pao Triple Delight, my favorite. The food was very bland. The sauce is supposed to be dark brown. The sauce tonight was very runny, soupy and very light brownish. My friend ordered the orange chicken and hers was very bland as well. I'm wondering if they got a new chef. I did order with no MSG though. Can MSG affect color and consistency of the sauce???If they did get a new chef, I won't return. Does anyone have any input?
