Are you looking for something new and amazing place for breakfast and lunch? Then you must try Sylvia's. You will not regret it.First day when I ate there, I did not expect it to be this good. The food is great and so is the price. Owner is very nice and inviting. Lunch specials are just the best.The location is easily accessible and has a very nice atmosphere. No signs on the outside but park in visitors spots in the University of Phoenix garage (right across of Taco Cabana) and it is right next to the door and elevators.

You have 2 wonderful cooks, Sylvia & Kim, who will prepare your food "just like you like it" without hesitation. Sylvia's Cafe is the truth when it comes to home style breakfast & lunch. Situated just inside the University of Phoenix office in West Houston, you'd never know this gem exists, but you'll wish you did. Check this cafe out, great food at very wallet-friendly prices and a smile from Sylvia each time.

Sylvia's cafe is delicious! Service is amazing as well. I work close by and Sylvia or Kim hand delivers our orders if we are busy- so sweet!I've tired the following so far:-bacon egg and cheese croissant -bacon egg and cheese breakfast burrito-bibimbap lunch special on Wednesday's -cheeseburger and seasoned fries -chicken and cheese baked potato -teriyaki chicken w/ veggies lunch special -chicken quesadilla with avocado and grilled onions

My new favorite place to grab breakfast and lunch. Family owned business who provides great customer service. Don't come by if you're in a rush, because there's usually one cook. Other than that, it is great!

Go in there and ask for a ham/Canadian bacon, bacon, egg, and cheese croissant with mayonnaise. It's so good!

I love the food, fast service, and selection. I suggest including the cheese steak on the menu for Tuesday nights.... I was looking forward to it, and I was sadly told, "that is only on Thursdays."
