Sweet T's Diner

Decided to give this place a try. I had the shrimp plate. It came with 10 grilled shrimp, baked potato, hush puppies and choice of the days veggies. I really loved the shrimp flavor. Baked potato was good. Hush puppies were way too spicy for me! The hubby got the trio basket (fried shrimp, fried catfish, stuffed crab & fries. He said it was a good meal. The service was great. My big complaint is the air conditioning was barely working or maybe they keep it that way on purpose. It was too hot for us though! We will go back but maybe wait for cooler weather!

Awesome food and service. Grits, sausage, biscuits, and hash browns all hot and delicious.

Unfortunately i did not have a good experience here. I was looking forward to having fried shrimp seeing as this place was less than a mile from the gulf, but their shrimp basket was terrible. Not sure if it was oil everything was fried in or what, but boyfriend and I will not eat here again. Should have known from no one being there (on Sunday, after church) that it might not be the best place to eat. I wished we had a better experience.

It took almost 2 hours to get our food. It wasn't even full. Another group came in at the same time as us and left 45 minutes faster. And we just ordered easy breakfast stuff. Food was ok but nothing special. Flies were all over the place, too. The servers were friendly but that doesn't help if it takes an insane amount of time. Multiple parts of the order came out wrong. We were getting ready to leave when food finally arrived. The bacon tastes like cigarettes. They added and charged two extra orders of bacon we didn't request and an automatic 20% gratuity. Ridiculous. I won't be back.

WHAT A GREAT SMALL TOWN DINER !! Came in here on a whim after visiting our grandparents me and my friends and boyfriend love the food. The custom service was amazing. The young lady with the gauges is so sweet.

Great food and service The fried mushrooms were cooked perfectly.I had a chicken fried steak sandwich with onion rings that couldn't be better. I will continue to eat here.

Excellent food, super cheap, everything homemade, excellent portions, quiet town.Here's a photo of the JUMBO BBQ Wings, which knock the socks off anything from wingstop or buffalo wild wings.

A pleasant, non-fancy place to have a meal on a Quintana Island beach day. I've had both breakfast and dinner there. Both were very good. The omelettes and hash browns are generous and satisfying (I couldn't finish the "Piggy" one). Their meat loaf for dinner is the best choice but any of the seafood baskets are delicious with the usual sides like fries or cole slaw. Service is quick and friendly. It sits in an area of Freeport that has seen better days, a bright spot in a place where there isn't much going on. Worth the trip if you're nearby.

Great restaurant located in Freeport! We have always had great service and the food is good!!
