Sweet Mango Refresqueria

If you have a craving for some Mexican munchies this is your place. It can be a bit pricey but it's worth it. My favorite are the chicken flautas and the chicharrón preparado. Their aguas frescas as very good too.

One of my husband's cousins recommended this Refresqueria since they know we often frequent them. We happened to be in the area, so we decided to stop. To our amazement, it was pretty empty.Not only is this place spotless when you walk in, there is also ample seating as well! The customer service is also top notch. We were able to choose from a huge menu that had a lot of different items that other Houston Refresquerias do not have.We ordered the chicharron preparado, mangonada, and crazy corn with chicharrones. All was delicious and made us wanting more.This place is also the cleanest Refresqueria I've ever been into. The floor is polished, the tables are clean, and there aren't any weird and nasty smells here. Flowers adorn the tables as well next to the paper towels that are brilliantly placed for dirty faces.We will be sure to come back!

This place is amazing, I tried their fresa con crema and it was Phenomenal!!Then I got there chocolate fresa liquado and it was even better!! My friend got the elite and she said it was really good too! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND 10/10

Such a cute little hidden gem! If you love Mexican snacks this is the place for you, they are very friendly & the food is delicious. I'll definitely be back. :)

Tried going in on a Monday (3/28/22) at 8:50 pm. They were closed while the operation hours says until 10pm. I'm always willing to support small businesses but not when they do stuff like this. I do not recommend.

I don't know why I haven't tried this spot sooner. Especially living so close to it for so long! They have a variety of snack to choose from. I tried their "Pepino Preparado, Manzana Preparado, and Agua De Pepino". I want to point out that the agua fresca I got was AMAZING. I thought it was something they had ready for you but no it was freshly made. That is a plus right there because I can imagine all their others aguas frescas tasting just as good. It's a small little shop, with enough sitting to come in and munch. The Manzana Preparado consisted of apples wrapped in like a tamarind strip with Chamoy, Tajín, gummy worms, Japanese peanuts, and salsaghetti. I might be missing something else but it had a little bit of everything. Mixture of sweet & sour. Not spicy to me at least. Also for the Pepino Preparado, it had the same ingredients as the manzana. Super fast and quick, I can't wait to try more from their menu.

It was my first time here and I loved the service. My corn in a cup was a little heavy on the mayonnaise and I asked if I could get a little more corn to help it taste better and the guy poured another scoop without any hesitation. Will definitely come back.

I ordered the mangonada and the elotes and they were so good. There's also a small sauce bar that lets you add some sauces and toppings onto your elotes and anything else you want. I am 100% coming back.
