Sweet Auburn BBQ

What a wonderful mashup between Asian and BBQ! It was a wonderful atmosphere with great service. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We came for brisket, so we started with the brisket egg rolls! I could eat a million of them! Add the pickled onions, cilantro, and sauce and it was a perfect bite! The crunch from the cabbage added a nice contrast to the pull-apart brisket.The brisket sandwich was delish! Had pieces of chopped brisket inside the patty. The smoke flavor was unmatched! It was huge and took almost half home. Side of fries was plenty for me and my mom to share with some to take home. It had a wonderfully spice rub on the fries. I could eat them all day.The brisket plate showcased the smokiness of the brisket. The bbq beans had smoked meat in them, and the pear slaw was a nice creamy and sweet contrast to the richness of the rest of the platter.The food was on the pricy side, but WELL worth it! Already planning our next trip.

Service here was great, they let us have the whole pitcher of sweet tea to refill for ourselves as a family. Aesthetically inside, very nice. Outdoor seating is great when it's not too hot.As a bbq snob, the barbecue was decent. I love places that offer more than one sauce so that I can try them all and this place passes that test. Overall, just a solid bbq place, but not mind altering. Would return

I came back today for lunch since I haven't had bbq in so long! Loved the Asian fusion and the options, definitely stands out and different that the area needs. Everything was awesome!! The bulgolgi salad and Korean tacos were amazing I'll be sure to remember to come back for more tacos! Fatty brisket is ALWAYS my go to. Love the Mac and cheese, so happy they have different green options, I can never decide fully what sides I want. I never skip on the Banana Pudding, too delicious! Our server was Linn and she was very sweet and prompt, always made sure we had everything we needed and was just the sweetest. We were seated, greeted, and served promptly. Overall, my fave place for BBQ hands down. Ambiance was very nice and casual, we loved sitting outside in the patio. There's a covered and non covered option. Also dog friendly, so that's cool!

I'm not really a fan. I tried a few times and wanted it to be a hit but it just didn't do anything for me. There's plenty of parking and outdoor seating. I've visited a few times trying to make sure it wasn't just a bad day when I went. The service was good. That wasn't the issue. I expected more from a bbq place.

Absolutely loved this place. The service was OK.The restaurant was nice and the food was good.We ordered:Cornbread: the best I've ever had. It had a hint of jalapeño, was moist and toasted! The butter complimented it perfectly.Tacos: had three different tacos with different meats and flavors. Really good. Our least favorite was the bulgolgi taco. The sauce was too strong for our liking.Combo plate with pulled pork and brisket. The meats were so juicy and tender. They had a nice smoke flavor. Only downfall was it tasted too salty.It came with pickles and toast which was a perfect pairing. Brussel sprouts: loved these! It came in a nice sauce. The sauce was strong but really good. Could be taken out of the sauce if it's too strong.Mac and cheese: this was good. Nice and creamy. Not our favorite because of saltiness but still really good.I would definitely come back.

Disclaimer: I am not a huge fan of BBQ. This is probably the 1st BBQ place I've ever been to with that being said it may be my last visit to a BBQ joint. Our server was great she explained that Sweet Auburn is a BBQ Asian inspired cuisine restaurant. (Interesting mix) My potato salad was dry. The chicken wasn't cooked all the way. The Mac n cheese was okay but they had these jalapeño cornbread biscuits that were pretty good. It had a kick to them but I liked them. The friend who went with me had French fries with no salt and green beans with no seasonings. It's a cute place with lots of TV's but I think the best thing about the meal was the wine ...or perhaps I just needed an alcoholic beverage after that unsavory meal

Good food, especially those jalapeño cornbread the drinks were good I had the white sangria I really had 2 lol. The customer service was also good no complaints. They also have different sauces at the table that you can choose from which is a plus . That Mac and Cheese is too kill for. Not literally people. Away I love the whole night and everything about it enjoy good people.

Excellent Bulgogi Salad. Top Tier. Highly recommend. If you have never been here, be aware that this is Asian inspired southern bbq. This is not traditional southern bbq. So if you want to explore some new foods and interesting takes then definitely try this out.

Absolutely would give this restaurant and location a thumbs up- 10 review.The Chef nailed the BBQ wings- classic sauce. Best wings I had in a very long time. The brisket lean was really good along with the bourbon beans and cornbread. The restaurant is very roomy with a nice ambiance. A large assortment of liquors and beverage. The weekend staff had great hospitality with great customer service. I would definitely recommend giving this location a try. You will not be disappointed with those wings!!
