I went to Swagat for dinner on a Tuesday. It was pretty busy around 8pm. The restaurant is located in a strip mall. It has a bar, booth seating, and tables as well. My cousin's husband is from northern India, and according to him, this place was very close to what he'd get in India. We ordered a lot of food. For the appetizers we got a fried vegetable patty and the Swagat (chicken) 65. For entrees, we got butter chicken, chicken korma, lamb rogan josh, and saag paneer. We also got some garlic naan and roomali roti on the side. All of them were very good, though the Swagat 65 appetizer came after the entrees. My favorites were the saag paneer and Swagat 65. The spinach blend the paneer was cooked in was very flavorful and surprisingly creamy. The Swagat 65 was heavily sauced, but it was tender with some crispy parts. The sauce was lightly spicy and a little sweet.Service was good, there was one guy who specifically kept refilling our water. Food came out pretty quickly too. Definitely a good Indian restaurant, and apparently authentic North Indian cuisine.

Solid Indian food.Work catered lunch from here and everyone was raving about the food.I ordered the chicken tikka masala medium spice and I'd say their medium spice is pretty spicy. The dish was rich and loaded with chicken! The problem of spice levels at Indian restaurants is that they can be pretty random and even at the same restaurant it can be a different experience from one visit to another. They had 3 levels of spice: mild, medium, and swagat spicy lol.I can't imagine what swagat spice meant honestly. That's just a word of warning, but I'd eat from here again.

Excellent food and service. Original flavor and spices I had the goat curry and chilli naan. Topped it off with homemade mango ice cream.

I've always heard that this restaurant is expensive but I really wanted to try it, and when I checked the menu online it looked similarly priced to other Indian restaurants.. so I got a butter chicken(spicy) to go I think it was around $17+ with tax it was served with portion of jeera rice (which was yum maybe better than the gravy dish it).. Also I felt like even though price is at par the quantity maybe be lesser compared to other restaurant (It was served in a 16 oz container and not till the top) also I can handle heat in food but this spicy heat level was 'woooh' really spicy!! Overall it was alright!(I ate it with lo-mein from an Asian restaurant)

Very fast and efficient service. We had veggie pakora which was crunchy and delicious, followed by a fish curry that was delicious despite the mild spice level. Beautiful decor and upscale. Meal cost about $42 including 2 breads. Very reasonable

Been here at least 10 plus times now and it never fails. Me and my partner LOVE this place. Driving 30+ mins now that we're not close by anymore. The manager Raj is always super friendly and the food comes out super quick! The vibe is always chill and easy! The chilli naan will change yo life. Coming from peeps who have tried just about every place in the triangle.

I've been coming to swagat Indian cuisine for 5 years and the food here has never disappointed me when it comes to their ambiance and food. I would highly recommend their Malai lobster, chicken biryani, and butter chicken. It's a MUST try.

Pathetic Service and food. Was a special occasion and decided to try Swagat as it was close to Indian Temple. Very bad decision from the start. Ordered Appetizers and Entrees but they served Entrees before Appetizers. When reminded they left the Entrees on the table to let it get cold and served Appetizers after 10 min. Baby Corn was not cooked at all and just tossed in sauce, and it was tasting raw as they totally forgot the Appetizer. Entrees was not great either. Koftas in Malai Kofta was very salty and not fresh. Portions were very less for the price of 20$ for an Entrée. The server comes at the end and tells the chef is not experienced to cover up. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.. Service: 0/5Food: 1/5Ambience: 2/5
