Suvi Thai & Sushi Restaurant

The food is amazing, we east here at least once a week, very friendly, pad thai is the best with extra shrimp and at least two stars If you like spicy food, and awesome sushi!! You can order without spice too..my family loves this place!!

Used to love this place. In this visit the server was very pushy at the start... we were regulars, and were thinking of getting something different than usual, but he stood over the table defining different dishes... we just ended up ordering what we usually get so he would go away. He also assumed we were tourists, something the Thai servers who used to work there never assumed.After our order, the service just went down hill. Water wasn't offered and we had to ask three times to get any. Then a refill never arrived.The wait was far longer than usual for our meals. Usually neat and clean, this time many tables had dirty dishes just sitting for our whole stay.The server spent most of his time talking with the only other patrons, a couple visiting from Venezuela. By the time he remembered to bring out our dinner it was already lukewarm. Temperature wasn't the main issue, however. Our requested spice level had been ignored, and the dishes were prepared poorly... not at all the same as in the past. In fact, completely different. Dry, overcooked, and lacking flavor.After delivering the food, the server vanished. When he did come out of the back, it was to attend to pickup orders being collected by delivery drivers. He didn't approach us again. We had to flag him down for a check, which also took a long time.When asked what had happened to the regular staff, he answered they quit and moved away.After this experience, we too quit Suvi- as customers, and will stay away.

Walked here for dinner because it's close to the hotel. - food: not impressed. Had their pad ki mao and found a piece of steel wool looking thing in the food. Sushi appetizer tasted mediocre, tom yum seafood soup was way too salty, only the spring rolls were good. - service: ok. We informed the server about the piece of steel wool found in the dish. They gave a discount on that dish and offered a free ice tea. Overall not a place I'd go back.

Food was okay! The taste definitely was Thai food. I liked it. Also got some beer which was fine. My only big complaint was that they seem to be taking advantage of the tipping. On my bill I was charged 18% on top of the bill. Thought this was a bit out of the ordinary. There was also a sign on the door that said they would charge 10% if you did take out. Seems a bit underhanded of them to charge these fees/tips forcefully! I will give 3 stars because of this.Other than that, restaurant was clean, our waitress seemed nice. I did not like being charged for a forced tip. (It was only two of us)

Very busy night. The server was doing his best but the portions and quality have really deteriorated over the years. Disappointed to say the least.

Worst Thai food ever had. Extremely watered-down tasteless curriesHalf-cooked spicy fried rice (that wasn't spicy at all)18% gratuity added by default for a party of 4 even when service was mediocre at best. No clue why they have such a high rating.

This spot have been a staple for Thai & Sushi in Miami Springs for years. The location is pretty big and is always pretty full . I ordered a Dragon Roll for a appetizer that was good . And then had the Pad Thai with Chicken and Shrimp.

i've been going here since i was a kid and i looooove this place! today i came during lunch and i got the garlic chicken with fried rice and a salad. everything was so so so good. i recommend putting the garlic sauce on the rice 10/10. i had some thai tea too and my boyfriend got singha. the service was very attentive but not overboard. overall, i had a great experience :D ooo my boyfriend also got the and it was so so delicious Shrimp Tempura Roll

Wow. What a great find. Staying at a local hotel walking distance. Look this place up, and the reviews were right. Great service, clean restaurant, and the food is outstanding and comes out fast. I had the Pad Thai, and boy, was it good. I ordered it mild for spice, and it was just right. We also tried the dinner combination. DC-3 Sushi, sashimi,stake teriyaki. FANTASTIC. And be sure to try the Crispy banana for dessert. You need to try this, very good. Next time in this area we will return. This place is a must

Visited with my boyfriend out of convenience since we were able to walk from our hotel. The pricing worried me a little bit because everything was very reasonable/cheap especially for the location but the reviews were good so we gave it a try.... thank god we did because the food was amazing. The service was just as good, great suggestions and great conversation. When in Miami go to Suvi!update: we ended up going back a couple hours later because we got bored in our hotel lol. we tried the thai donuts wish were very different from other ones i have tried but still good. we also got a couple bottles of the lychee sake, delish as always. we also tried the Japanese Sapporo beer, which is almost exactly like a yuengling fyi.
