Sushi Yoto

Incredibly fresh for all you can eat. Perfectly sliced sashimi, not too thin or small. Service is slow but everyone is very attentive and nice. The place is very small, similar to a traditional sushi restaurant, hopefully owner keeps the same quality for near future. Kids under 4 get charged $6.95 for dinner.

Before I get started, let me say that the robotic cat server is absolutely adorable, and I couldn't stop smiling whenever it passed by.I was extremely excited to try this place. I love sushi, and having AYCE less than five minutes from my house is a dream come true. Mon-Fri lunch AYCE is 11 am- 3:30 pm for $19.95 and dinner AYCE is $29.95 (including weekends and holidays).Me and my hubby were seated right away. There are booths and tables and a tiny sushi counter all the way in the back. It's a bit of a tight squeeze when the place fills up which could make it very difficult for anyone needing a wheelchair or a walker to move around (like to the restrooms). Popular Christmas music was softly playing in the background and there were plenty of flatscreen TVs showing sports on almost every wall. The atmosphere felt modern and trendy without being pretentious.Our cheerful server (a human, not the cat-bot) brought us their lunch menus and asked what we'd like to drink. They didn't have a drink list anywhere we could see, so we defaulted to a sweet tea with lemon for me and an ice water with lemon for hubby.Here's a list of what we ordered and shared:Spicy garlic edamame, baby octopus robata, beef tataki, miso soup, spicy kani salad, 4 pieces of red snapper and yellowtail nigiri, 1 tamago and 1 inari nigiri, a spicy tuna handroll, a chicken crunch handroll, a volcano long roll, eel and avocado long roll, and a NASA long roll.We ordered our meal in small bursts and never had long to wait. The hot food was hot and the fish fresh and flavorful. I was a little disappointed that the snapper on my nigiri was sliced rather thin compared to the rice ratio given, but the yellowtail was on point. Hubby said he liked the flavor of his chicken handroll but the sauce was loaded up front and didn't reach the end bites. He says that was his bad, though, and resolved to order it as a long roll next time. The NASA roll was delicious! Out of all the food we ordered, I liked that the best!I really enjoyed our time at Sushi Yoto and will absolutely return! There are quite a few rolls I'd like to try from their dinner menu!

Had dinner here a couple nights ago and we were really amazed with the quality of the fish. Our favorites were the white tuna, yellowtail, and striped bass. We also ordered the soft shell crab roll, NASA roll, and Sweet 18 Roll. Our server was attentive and came by to check on us regularly, which is really important for an all you can eat place. Unfortunately the cat robot they use to deliver food to the table wasn't working that day, but that's okay. We finished off with green tea ice cream, tempura bananas, and tempura ice cream. The pricing is definitely reasonable for the quality of the food and the flexibility to try what you want.

I visited Sushi Yoto for their dinner all you can eat sushi. I'm glad that there's finally a high quality ayce sushi spot close to me in Pasadena. I favor this restaurant over all of the other sushi spots around the area, in terms of both the quality and service. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and would be a nice place to catch up with friends. Everything from the appetizers, sushi, and dessert were spot on. Our sushi came out on a boat too which was a nice surprise!My favorites from the dinner ayce menu:- Yellowtail Jalapeno- Crispy Calamari- Jalapeno Crab- Takoyaki- Grilled Mussels- Yellowtail, tuna, salmon, eel, and mackerel- Houston Roll- Tempura oreo and green tea ice cream

This place was great, a real surprise. Don't be worried about a retail park located sushi place. Great service, good value and very fresh fish. As a sushi lover, I recommend this establishment.

Loved the food. My husband and I agree everything is fresher here than other places. The tempura shrimp in the rolls is actually crispy! Portions are larger as well.Had good options for apps, which I care about. I enjoyed the spicy Kani salad, especially. My favorite sushi is typically something with smoked salmon, but I don't like fried rolls. They only have smoked salmon inside fried rolls here. However, the Tigereye was really good, and it's the first time I've liked a roll that's fried. Eel is another one of my favorites and the eel nigiri was delicious. The dragon roll has avocado on top instead eel. Ice cream was great! I got green tea and it was rich and smooth, served with chocolate syrup, whipped cream and cherries.

Our family has been here 4+ times. Plan on another visit within the week. Excellent service. Nicely decorated interior. Food quality is excellent and prices are very fair. Sometimes the food delivery will slow, but this place gets busy! Overall I think they do an amazing job delivering the orders quickly. The owners are active and so friendly. 5/5. Highly recommended.

For an all you can eat it was pretty good. Not the best but the sushi and dumplings, spring rolls and crab wontons were really good. Fish seemed fresh. The fried Oreo was to so good but seemed like it had been warmed up vs freshly fried.

Daisy was very kind and super sweet. She helped me pick out some great sushi rolls that I could only eat half of each. The Shaggy Dog roll was on point! The Pasadena Roll was a great surprise with refreshing cucumber. The seaweed salad is fresh and excellent. I don't enjoy Oreos normally but to my amazement, they're absolutely delish FRIED with strawberry ice cream!! I sat at the bar and enjoyed watching everyone else's lunch come out. I wanted to sample it all. Enjoyable atmosphere

Super cute and good food! The staff very kind and accommodating. We ordered quite a few things including the spicy kani salad which was the perfect blend of spicy sweet.
