This restaurant located in Mia Market Food Hall. The food hall is in the second floor. Plenty of seatings. The ambiance was great and it's great for group of friends or family eating. The food was phenomenal. Fish was very fresh and the service was quick. I especially like the handroll.

Great lunch sushi, in fact the sushi could be dinner it was so good. Not much else to say, in a food court, so no atmosphere, no interaction with the chef de cuisine, so it misses out on the sushi counter experience.

THE sushi spot in the Design District. Sushi Yasu Tanaka is located within the MIA Market, tucked away in the corner but is such a gem. When you enter the MIA Market, there are so many things to choose from but, if you're a sushi fanatic, definitely plan to grab a bite here! They offer platters, specials, and even omakase. I love the omakase because it's such a different format from normal omakase. It's more of a causal experience but still so special. The fish tastes so fresh and of high quality, you'll question if you're even in a food hall concept but I would expect nothing less from the Design District. I've done both the omakase and the salmon special and both are so great. Definitely recommend this spot!

How amazing it is to find a delicious option inside a food hall. This sushi counter spot inside Miami's Mia Market delivers high-quality food in an informal space, with outstanding service. They have a small menu, full of fresh and quality fish, some appetizers, and Omakase (10 pieces and one hand roll). They follow the idea of keeping it simple but delicious, the staff is very nice and always helping and explaining each piece of menu items. One of my favorite bites is the Uni & Ikura hand roll, the way that the fresh Uni melts with popping Ikura makes this hand roll a piece of heaven. If you are a sushi lover this will be your favorite spot in Miami.

One of the best values I've seen for sushi in a while! Yes, the location is a little weird. However, if this is the trade off between a $59 10 piece omakase + hand roll vs this being a $140 meal, I would eat this in a parking lot. The quality is definitely top notch, and the chef here takes what he does seriously. It's a little hard to find - you have to walk up the escalator towards MIA Market, and it's in the back of MIA market. You pay at the counter, you get a number, and then you sit down nearby. There are two nicer booths that were empty when we got there, but there are also regular tables and high tops. They bring out the 10 pieces at once, so pace yourself lol. I thought this was an amazing value considering I got a tuna trio in there, a scallop nigiri, etc. hand roll was toro also! I would definitely return when I'm craving sushi and not trying to come out of my meal broke.

Holy cow THE FISH WAS AMAZING - we had to order another plate of nigiri! Most memorable nigiri were the scallop and fatty tuna for me. Despite its simplicity, quality is just out of this worldPlace was a little hard to find at first, we didn't realize it was inside the food court (out of towners here). But loved that the set up was food court style, this made it easy for us to find seats (which are really cute btw!) and also try other things like coffee after!I enjoyed this place more than most places in NYC honestly, will recommend to anyone visiting!

The best sushi that exists in South Florida. But take note, once you eat this no other sushi in all of Miami will ever taste as good. I almost always get the salmon 5 piece, ototo charcoal and two wagyu miso hand rolls. But as you can imagine, everything is going to be amazing. Also, it's located inside of the food hall in palm court. Very easily accessible.

I recently REvisited Sushi Yasu Tanaka, but at their new location in B100M and it Is still, absolutely incredible! From the more intimate and exclusive atmosphere, to the service, it is truly a 100/10. The food quality, presentation, and flavors are all unique and all special in their own form. Hands down, the best in Miami!

Probably one of the most underrated sushi spots in Miami. Located inside Design District's, MIA Market, you wouldn't expect to find such high quality, perfectly curated sushi, nigiri and hand roll menu but there it is -- a spot every sushi lover should try. Run by former chef of the den at Azabu, the michelin rated chef Yasu Tanaka knows how to create beautiful creations of hand rolls, nigiri samplers and maki rolls you didn't know your taste buds needed. Recently, I indulged in the tuna sampler which consisted of 3 tuna makis, 2 fatty tuna nigiris that were torched, 2 less fatty ones and 2 even less fatty... wow, wow, wow, I was speechless. I really hope everyone gets a chance to try this spot out because you certainly will not regret it.

Very casual being in a food mall, but extremely good fish quality. The sushi is prepared at top quality level. The young chefs are very friendly.
