We had 5:30 reservations for 4 here before a show at Koka booth. It was pretty empty when we arrived so we probably didn't need the reservation but it had filled up by the time we left. We sat in a roomy booth by the sushi bar. We ordered wines and beers to start. Our waiter was attentive and prompt. Friends ordered spring rolls and edamame for appetizers. I ordered a seaweed salad -- very tasty. Husband ordered a red chicken curry and was very pleased. Friend enjoyed some kind of coconut milk based Thai soup. My rainbow roll was pretty and delicious. Overall a solid meal.

Their tomyum soup was phenomenal tonight! Spicy noodles were not spicy enough for me until I asked them for their homemade chili flakes. Their crab puffs are really delicious, too. Shrimp rolls are crispy and filling! The service was amazing, and the ambiance was nice as well.

This restaurant is a delightful fusion of Thai cuisine and sushi. While my husband is obsessed with their sushi, I tend to lean towards their Pad Thai, even though it's not my top choice. During my last visit, I ventured to try their Tom Yum soup with chicken, which was decent, but the chicken was a bit tough and the broth slightly sweeter than I prefer. Yet, the subtle hint of lime added a nice touch. However, the real stars of the meal were the crab wontons, which were simply divine, and I still find myself craving their heavenly mango sticky rice from past visits. The cozy atmosphere adds to the overall charm of the place, making it feel like a home away from home, and the service is consistently exceptional. Plus, parking is always convenient. Just a friendly tip: this spot tends to fill up quickly, so it's wise to book a reservation or arrive early to secure a table.

Although my family has been coming to this restaurant for many years, I haven't dined in in quite some time. We came to eat here on a Saturday evening for dinner, and it was pretty busy. The restaurant walls are nicely decorated with traditional art, and there is ample seating available. Although it was busy, the waiters were very friendly and attentive. I tried their nigiri for the first time and it was delicious!! The fish was fresh and flavorful, and the portion was pretty generous. My family also ordered the pad Thai, Massamam curry, spider roll, and soft shell crab, and all of the dishes were great. I've never had a bad experience with food quality or service in the many times I've been here, Sushi Thai just simply does it right!

Terrible food. Luke warm tea, super sweet tom Kha, soupy pad thai, total crap chicken yakitori. Shiitake mushroom yakitori was pure candy.Manager is really bad. She didn't recognize us as regulars and didn't apologize just said it's busy and this how it's done. This place is going downhill super fast.

Not a huge place but not congested. I sat at sushi bar and while I had no issues since the place was at 30% capacity. I could see that I would feel constricted if at 60%. Otherwise place was clean and waitstaff and sushi chef were on their game. Now to the food. I went on a Tuesday. Yeah yeah I know sushi before Thursday. Wait the fish was fresh and prepared nicely. I will say the portions was on the larger scale for sushi. Almost 35% larger than most. Negative would be more rice and other none filler than seafood. Overall I was pleased with everything and will come back.

I wish I could give zero stars. For the love of god, if you cannot accommodate to go orders due to your dine-in volume - congratulations on your business and success! CLOSE online/phone orders. Waited for nearly 2 hours for a takeout order, including 1 hour and 5 minutes waiting on site. Staff was clearly overwhelmed and had no idea what was going on. I repeatedly inquired about my order and was repeatedly lied to about where it was and if prep had even been started. They finally started my order 8 minutes before I got it - and then it was incorrect. Money wasted. I used to love Sushi Thai but it seems they've bitten off more than they can chew. Will not return for takeout or dine in. PS, a man who seemed to be in authority and was directing waitstaff was drinking wine outside while his staff struggled. Tasteful my guy.

I love this Sushi Thai location! It's also next to SugarKoi, which is my favorite ice cream spot. The service here is always great and the food is spectacular. If you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine, this is the place to go in Cary. Their sushi has also been quite delicious each time that I've gone.
