Sushi Sake - South Beach

Food was good and good size servings. Service was a 7 out of 10. Server forgot to bring out a couple of things that was included in our order. He was nice and polite though. Ambiance? Very nice and upscale! Very Contemporary!

I was excited to try Sushi Sake off a recommendation from a friend. I came after work and asked to sit outside. The menu has lots to choose from. I'm not too fond of the higher entree prices but it's the beach so it's expected. I hadn't ordered extra sauces but they were delivered to my table outside and to be clear I was the only one seated outside. When I asked to move inside because it got too windy, I passed my server who asked me if I ordered the sauce and told him no. He proceeded to try and take the sauce away from me and told me well if you keep it I'm gonna have to charge you for it BOSS. First off I may be a boss but I'm not your boss and you shouldn't be referring to your guests as "BOSS" it's disrespectful and considered a term of endearment. The place is in a good location and the ambiance inside and out is nice. The food was great and the portions large. I'm a big guy and I didn't finish it all. Although my bill was $50 and I only ordered 1 thing and no drink. The best part was the teriyaki? Sauce. The salmon was cooked nicely not too raw but not too done. Moist just right. I did not get a check back from my server. I felt like I was waiting a long time for my check. I would come back and give it another shot but I just don't like how the server came across trying to charge me extra for sauces I didn't even order. If you're visiting best to get dropped off there's virtually no parking on the street as it's busy here so good luck.

Nice quaint and very accommodating. My 7 year old loves sushi and without even having to ask they brought out age appropriate chop sticks for him. everything was fresh and delicious.

Great food! Just because when the offer you water you might ended up paying for it lol

Not great, but not bad either, just basic. I ordered the children's chicken teriyaki with rice and the yellow tail Sashimi. Nothing to really to talk about. The venue is nice tho... love the decor. Give it a try you may enjoy it. Service was ok, also.. the gratuity is added no matter how many people in your party

Great service, yummy rolls and enjoyed the outdoor seating for some good people watching. We enjoyed all the rolls but my favorite was the Angel Roll. I could have skipped the edemame but everything else was good. Prices are good for this area.

Sushi Sake has great drinks and an amazing sushi selection. I have allergies so it's hard to find a sushi roll that I can eat and still enjoy. I got the Miami Heat roll and inhaled it, haha. Santiago was a great server too, super nice. I love the vibe of this restaurant, if I was local I'd come often! Thank you :)

Go somewhere else! Sent the green tea hot when it was never specified hot. Fish tastes dry and old! Spicy mayo was unedible!

This restaurant had a nice atmosphere and we were sat very quickly. The food did not take long and was flavorful. I had only had Sushi Maki in Miami, and I wanted to try Sushi Sake since they seem like big competitors. I think I like them both and wouldn't mind going to either one.

Very good better than any place around here. My friend bought some syshu fro another place because it was cheaper but ended up regretting it
