Initially I will say I was impressed. My waitress was super kind and the food was good. After eating I went to a private party at the speak easy. It was so nice. I decided toOrder a California roll to go for my son and started conversing with two gentleman at the bar. As we were speaking a gentleman in uniform comes over and with a tray of sushi extends it to the three of us and says "want to grab one" I say sure and reach for it and he snatches the plate back and says "I don't knowYou" I was so confused. The other guys were regulars. I am African American. The other patrons were not. It came across extremely rude and insensitive. If not for his crass unprofessional behavior it would have been 5 stars, this happened at 11pm on 2/24. Please look into this.

My friend chose this place to have dinner at and I thought it was decent. The restaurant is beautiful but very small (12-14 tables inside). We came here on a Friday night as a walk in and were told it would be a 2 hour wait for a table, so we chose to sit at the bar. I ordered the arata roll and my friend orders the volcano roll. The arata roll was OK, not my favorite but the volcano roll was delicious. The rolls are on the smaller side and pretty pricey. I thought the service was good, our server checked up on us frequently. However the service was annoyingly slow. I think this a solid place to go to if you're in the mood for sushi and are in the post oak area!

Had a medium fatty tuna nigiri, miso soup, and this great combo of short ribs, firecracker shrimp, and blue crab fried rice. Everything was really delicious, the service was fantastic, and I had enough leftover to take home to my husband and toddler.

Love the fact that everything on their menu was delicious, not just their rolls. It's nice to be able to enjoy a variety of quality items. Nice, calming atmosphere that doesn't overdo it. Out waitress was very kind, making sure to bring us whatever we ask for and asking us how each item was without being overkill.

Excellent sushi! We were actually next door at the Irish pub but were able to order sushi from here and so glad we did! All the rolls we tried were 10/10! We had the; Tartare tots (my favorite!)Phili Squared Samauri Roll If I lived in the area this would be my go to sushi spot!

This place is fantastic! It was one of our favorite sushi places ever. Top 5 for sure! Every sushi roll we ordered was delicious. My favorite was the umami roll. They make a lot of spicy rolls which I love, but they can take out any spicy ingredients for those who like something more mild. The balance of flavors was amazing. They were bursting with flavor without being drowned in sauces. Service was great. They have a great alcohol list and we loved our cocktails. We also ordered edamame and pan seared gyoza. All were delicious! This place is also super cute. It's a great date night ambiance or even a night out with the girls.

First time visiting this restaurant! :)There are a few vegetarian options! I had veggies rolls and Brussels sprout. Twas a good one. Deep fries banana was also unique to my taste! I enjoyed the vibe and the service. Perhaps bit pricey for what I ordered but the location is in the good restaurants complex so can't complain Have more vegetarian options could be great Cheers

Was looking for a late night sushi place on a Thursday night and came across Sushi on Post Oak! We thought they closed at midnight because of the posted time on Yelp but they actually closed at 11pm . We felt so bad getting there 10 minutes before last call at 10:45pm but they were soooo nice, kind, and professional and never rushed us. Loved everything here from the ambiance to the service and the delicious food! Portions were generous and came out so fast! Poke bowl had more fish than anything which is pretty rare compared to other places that we have been to. (Loved it) Fish was so fresh! Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Amazing experience and the waiter was well versed on the menu, gave background and noted that every specialty roll, desserts, and the dishes were made in house! All fresh sushi was good quality seafood, so if you are into raw sushi, this is the place to go!Great for date night, day dates, large friend groups and family gatherings. The atmostphere is Not too friendly for kids but you can bring them. Alcoholic drinks were amazing and flavorful!Ordered bread pudding - DELISH Sushi was amazing, you can even opt for a well-done option for sushi that is lightly torched. Parking lot, so ample parking (which is a plus in Houston)
