Great selection and very attentive waitstaff! Sushi and sashimi was good, no fishy taste or discoloration. The appetizers and the kitchen food were very good as well.Unlike a lot of AYCE places they wouldn't "forget" to put some items in when you order. And the food came out so fast!I would definitely return here again.

AYCE... your probably thinking I go for the lunch price because it's cheaper but before you decide... lunch has less appetizer options, less dessert options and no sashimi. So if you are a sashimi person is there really a choice? Well?So of course I paid the regular price. Appetizers:Tana Dumpling - very good nice contrast of texturesMango Salmon - surprisingly tastyKitchen Appetizers:Coconut Shrimp - goodGyoza - didn't try.. heard it was goodOctopus Balls - goodSesame Balls - slightly over fried but goodTempura:Pumpkin - yummySweet Potato - yummy Shrimp - on the small sideSoups:Clear Soup - like onion SoupSashimi:Scallop - scallop cut in half - small but tasty Salmon - delicious, flavor and texture just rightEscolar - delicious, flavor and texture just rightTuna - meh, texture was offUnagi - delicious Handrolls:Spider - disappointed- not enough crabSalmon Skin - crispy but not greatSpecialty Rolls:Fuji Volcano Roll - a lot going on, texture and taste...delicious Lion King Roll - tastyDessert:Tempura Banana - delicious... crispy outside and sweet banana insideService was very friendly and helpful.Definitely a family atmosphere. And they do keep track of your 2hrs.Shared parking lot and it gets crowded quickly on a weekend.

I've been to a few different ayce sushi spots in the greater Houston area. This one is the best in my opinion. It's clean, affordable, and has good service. Sushi 9 has been getting overpriced, mikoto has terrible service, and sushi masa was just not good when I had it. Sushi Ichii has everything you want, cute decor, and plenty of tables. I hope to go back soon!

I came here for a weekend lunch buffet, while the rest in my party had a la carte from the lunch menu. The buffet menu has limited food options. From the buffet menu, I ordered the gyozas, vegetable noodles, age tofu, teriyaki tofu, tuna sushi, salmon sushi, eel sushi, spicy salmon roll, tiger eye roll, eel avocado roll, and green tea ice cream. The gyozas were standard frozen dumplings so they tasted normal. The age tofu was a big disappointment. The small amount of sauce given with the tofu was not good, and the tofu tasted bleh. The teriyaki tofu was slightly better because of the sauce. The sushi were ok. The rolls were ok except for the spicy salmon roll. It wasn't spicy at all. The noodles were tasteless. The green tea ice cream was the worst. There was no green tea flavor at all despite the rich green color. For the food I ordered, sushi was the saving grace. From the a la carte menu, my party had the chicken katsu. The chicken katsu didn't taste and look like real chicken meat. It was hard to eat.Though the service was great, I wouldn't be back because of the low food quality.

A really fantastic AYCE sushi experience. We came here for lunch and were really impressed by the quality of the food for the price. Lunch is around $20 and you can choose from a variety of handrolls, appetizers, rolls, and sushi pieces as well as dessert. The tuna sushi was really fresh and my husband enjoyed the salmon. The service is very friendly and accomodating. The rolls come out fast so you don't need to load up on your orders right away. They do charge for children 3 and under which is a little surprising! Only $4 so not a huge price but usually babies are free.

I went for the all-you-can-eat lunch and decided to take my time to review everything I tried.Seaweed Salad: The seaweed salad was pretty standard, nothing particularly special, but I still enjoyed it. 8/10Onion Tempura: I thoroughly enjoyed the onion tempura. It had a satisfying crispiness that indicated it was freshly made. I couldn't resist eating more of it. 10/10Tuna Tataki: The tuna tataki was delicious. They served a generous portion, and I loved the citrus sauce they drizzled over it. The masago and green onion added great flavors to the tuna. 10/10Pepper Tuna: I really enjoyed this dish as well. I've always liked pepper tuna, but I felt that it wasn't as peppery as I would prefer. It might be because there was too much sauce. 8/10Tana Dumpling: This was my first time trying the Tana Dumpling, and I really enjoyed it. The spicy tuna and the sauce had a strong presence, which might be overwhelming for some, but I thought all the ingredients complemented each other well. 9/10Luna Tuna Roll: This roll was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the generous portion of white tuna on top. Perhaps a little less sauce next time would make it perfect. 9/10Sushi: The sushi was decent but not amazing. It tasted similar to other sushi I've had before, nothing particularly special. I found it a bit plain. 7/10Rolls: Personally, I preferred their maki rolls over the sushi. The seaweed added an extra layer of flavor that enhanced the taste of the fish. 8/10Ice Cream: I tried the chocolate and vanilla flavors. They served a generous portion of ice cream, and it was delightfully creamy. The taste surpassed my expectations, and I truly enjoyed it. 9/10Service: The service was friendly and attentive. The staff frequently checked on our table to see if we needed anything. 10/10

This place continues to be great. It had been a few months since we last were here (life gets in the way) and it still hits. The service is impeccable, the restaurant is clean and the food is fresh. Highly recommend. It's also a little chilly inside, so I suggest you bring a sweater if you get cold easily.

Although it was difficult for us to find a parking spot at first, I was glad to see that we were quickly seated upon arrival. We ordered several sushi rolls and sashimi, and received the food quickly. I was pleased to find thick cuts of fresh tasting salmon sashimi which isn't always a given with AYCE places. The tuna was a little fishy but the other options well made up for it. Our waitress was attentive and frequently came by to check on us, which I appreciate. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Probably the worst all you can eat sushi I've ever had Fish quality was bad Service was mid They had the audacity to ask if we were gonna "finish all that" before we ordered dessert. Their teriyaki sauce had an off putting after taste They had probably only two waitresses taking orders. The restaurant was pretty empty for a Tuesday night with the parking lot being so packed. Now I see why. Idk if I'll give this another try. My escolar tasted and smelt spoiled I had to spit it out. Two stars for benefit of the doubt Sushi 9 would've been better I prefer sushi masa myself

Worst sushi place in Katy. Rude people, low quality sushi. Salmon on the sushi is a thin as a plastic wrap. I was shocked to see a piece of salmon can be cut this thin. The waitress (I think she owns the place) rudly react to our complain and commented that we won't be able to order more sushi if we don't finish this round even though the quality is bad. We ended up leaving and purchase food from a fast food near by not to go home hungry
