Service was outstanding! Our server was very welcoming and efficient. She seemed to appear exactly when we needed something and checked up on us regularly, always with a gracious smile. We also got a kick out of the robot server. The food, however, was underwhelming. I felt like the tempura on everything with tempura was heavy-handed and on the tough side, instead of the light, crispy texture I've come to expect from good tempura.Sashimi was cut much smaller than in any other place I've been, and I guess I can understand this... it would be a shame for a single piece of sashimi to remain, untouched, on a plate. Other offerings we tried: mussels, spicy edamame, and a few rolls. Nothing stood out for us.The space was nice enough... modern and clean with booth and table options.

My friends and I came here on a Friday night for some ayce sushi! Since AYCE sushi is $29.95, which is a great deal, we decided to get a sushi boat as well the appetizers and cocktails! My friends and I got to share the Haya Super Boat that contains sushi, sashimi, kissing on fire, snow dragon and sushi Haya roll! I gotta say that the sashimi and nigiri is so fresh as always, kissing on fire roll and snow dragon sushi is okay, sushi haya roll is good tho! The service here is good, but it gets really busy the day we came in. I loved how the robot serves us the appetizer and drinks which is so cool! The space is here pretty spacious as well they have the bar to serve the drinks as well.

This review is going to be a little different since it's coming from a non-seafood consumer at an all you can eat sushi restaurant. However, it was an experience worth my review! Sushi is my husband's favorite food. He loves all things seafood basically, with sushi being at the top of his list. I don't eat anything seafood and never really have. I just can't bring myself to do it. That's why we were so intrigued to come across Sushi Haya since they also offer all you can eat hibachi. How is everyone not obsessed with this place? It was such an enjoyable experience for us! For $30 per person (at dinner time) you get all you can eat appetizers, dessert, sushi and hibachi. That's an incredible deal, especially in this time of inflation. I've never eaten anywhere that you can get unlimited hibachi. I had a mixed greens salad, beef kabobs (My favorite thing!), beef hibachi, beef fried rice, chicken fried rice, a chicken crunch roll, and red bean ice cream. Everything was great. There was nothing I wouldn't order again and I'm already looking forward to the next time I have dinner there. I was just really impressed with the options they had for people who don't eat sushi to enjoy. Our server was so nice and attentive. She even gave us recommendations and answered every question we had about the menu. She also brought me a sample when I wasn't sure if I would like the ice cream. My only disappointment is that we never had any food brought by the robot waiter! But it was really cool to watch it go and serve other tables. It's rare to eat somewhere now and truly feel like you got your money's worth but Sushi Haya hits that mark. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is a 2 hour time limit, but all the rules are clearly listed on the AYCE menu before you ever order.

This Sushi Haya is way worse than the one by 249. Even tho the service has always been pleasant, the food quality/quantity is just not as good as the other one. Do not get the nigiri from here because you barely get any fish with it, just a giant lump of rice.

For an AYCE sushi spot, this place is rock solid with selections and how everything is made to order. You will definitely get your money's worth and belly full once you make your order. My friend and I met for lunch here in late March since it was near his residence. He mentioned it was AYCE so I'm glad I skipped breakfast. You can order whatever you like upon order so we went all out starting with soups, peppercorn tuna, and shrimp yaki udon before loading up on the sushi. Their specialty rolls we tried included:-Lake charles roll (crawfish, cream cheese, jalopeno; roll deep fried) - 5/5-Shaggy dog (shrimp tempura w/ avocado) - 3.5/5-Surf & turf roll (spicy tuna roll w/ seared angus beef w/ spicy sauce) - 5/5We also did individual sushi pieces including the snapper, octopus, crab stick, shrimp, and yellowtail along with salmon hand roll and spicy tuna roll. The snapper and octopus were both my favorites out of the individual pieces. Didn't care for the crab stick since it tasted like imitation crab. We finished it off with some green tea ice cream and oreo tempura; both had the right amount of sweetness to cap off a very VERY large meal for us both. I don't know how I was able to walk out since I was so full. However the smile never left my face after putting in that last piece of tempura down.If you decide on this spot, bring your appetite!

A couple months back this restaurant was featured by alot of Houston Foodie influencers. I was hesitant to visit since it was a 40+ minute drive but what made me want to visit was that they had baby octopus skewers which I had never seen before on an AYCE sushi menu! While this place was a 3.5 for me I am going to round up to a 4 because the lower rating is partially due to the long drive. This is because I live in the loop and wouldn't want to drive out specifically to go to this restaurant again. Since I feel like there are comparable AYCE places closer to me. However, if I was in Spring for something else I wouldn't mind stopping by My stand outs: Sashimi: 4The sashimi pieces were cut very well and the quality was decent for an AYCE restaurant! Octopus Skewers: 4 I really enjoyed this dish since the sauce was really good! However, it was a bit over cooked since it was a bit too chewy. So make sure to put the whole thing in your mouth instead of just biting off parts. Rolls: 3The rolls were average and what you'd normally see at any AYCE sushi place since they were filled with fillers to make you full. I wasn't very fond of the Surf and Turf though because it felt like things were just thrown together. Also, the beef was rare and super thin so it didn't add to the taste since it was over powered by the sauce on top. Takoyaki: 3 I was so excited by this but the Takoyaki were mediocre because there was barely any octopus and the sauce they used instead of mayonnaise was just ok. Appetizers: 3While the appetizers are good alot of them were remarkably like the ones you'd buy from Costco/Sam's so nothing really special Service: 4At first I was really nervous because a lot of the employees seemed to be newly trained. For example, the hostess who showed us to our seat had to look back to her superior multiple times to make sure we were at the right table. However, our actual server was a seasoned professional who checked in on us regularly, was patient with my family members when they'd change their minds, would clarify our orders with us, and was able to explain the menu/give recommendations. Disclaimer: There seems to be one robot so you'll have limited time with it. It will only bring one or two items to youTip: If you order sushi or a hand roll a lot of them came with a lot more rice then you might like. What my family did was to take out the extra rice and eat it with a Robata grill or Hibachi item

The taste and deal for quality food is unbeatable. The only thing taking away is that service is either awesome or average. But even average is acceptable and this spot is worth a try. Great variety of options even during lunch pricing. Kids will love the robot delivery!

I've been to a few of these in the area and have never had a problem. While the location is older, the best one is on 249. As they had no power last night, I went to this location on Kyukendal. It was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. My wife ordered the same thing every single time without issue. Was very basic. This time they gave me a hard time and charged me $3 more on top. My daughter wanted a soda and they now claimed there are no free refills whereas when I go to any other one, I don't have that problem. The service was disconnected as we gave our order to one server she entered it on the tablet and then another came over and did the same. The service was slow. When I approach the manager, he basically just shrugged. Very unhelpful. Doesn't care / doesn't want to care. Very frustrated. I spent a lot of money there and I feel like I got ripped off.
