The best service we have ever received in Houston. We have been living here from just over a year, and have been to many places to eat, but none of the restaurants has ever given us as much attention as Sushi Haya. Delicious food prepared FRESH and fast, and COLD draft beer! WORTH EVERY PENNY My husband and I will be returning. My husband says, "this place is a piece of Japan in Houston!" Haya means "Now" & they love up to the name because of their speedy service!

This place is great for what they aimFor. I wouldn't choose this as my go to fancy sushi restaurant, that being said, I 100% would eat here over and over again, especially with their ridiculous lunch all you can eat special!!Food:I've eaten countless amounts of sushi here, along with other items provided. Nothing has been unsatisfactory. Literally nothing. The all you can eat option is out of this world a great deal for quality sushi!! Service:The bar can be a bit slow, but that being said, they are all extremely friendly and if you just ask for help, it is quickly granted. Ambiance:It's not over the top fancy, it's not concerning low. It's just the perfect ambiance for what it is. This place nails it every time for quality sushi at a fair price! No complaints :)

One of my fave restaurants in the (Vintage Park/Tomball/Willowbrook) area. I prefer this newer Houston location (249/Louetta) over its Spring (2920/Kuykendahl) counterpart. It is cozy, welcoming, and authentic; casual enough for an unassuming lunch yet still quaint enough to enjoy a dinner date. The food & service are great. We enjoyed fresh & skillfully prepared sushi, and our server was very prompt & attentive. The AYCE option is a bargain if you have a big appetite, but they also have a regular menu, cocktails & bar drinks, and happy hour specials.

First time coming to this establishment for AYCE. My husband and i both had Hibachi steak a few rounds. We also ordered some sashimi and i have to give it white Tuna, Salmon and surf Clams are my favorite. We also had Shaggy dog and tuna specialty roll (forgot the name). I also ordered Shrimp and Salmon Hibachi and both were yummy. Beef short rib grill is okay not my favorite. I love how fast the food comes out and our waiter was very attentive. Overall, I enjoyed everything I had there today. I will be back again for sure.

If you are thinking about visiting this place. PLEASE DO IT! I went here pretty late like almost 10/11pm after church with a friend and I saw the decor, which was very well thought out. you can tell they took some time into curating the look of the place. From the menus to the outdoor patio section. So I expected to pay a pretty buck eating here. But then I looked in the menu, and they actually have an all you can eat for $30 a person! I was shocked, but also very excited. I am a sushi fiend so I love to try different specialties rolls. each roll we got was pretty good. I would say skip the hibachi. I ended up getting chicken hibachi they give you so much but it's not it's not that flavorful and it's à la cart so the noodles/rice you have to order separately ( but it is still included in the Buffet) My favorite part was our "waiter" they give you a little robot to serve you your food. It was so cool, and so unexpected! I will definitely be back!

I looooooove sushi haya! And I'm glad they opened this location near me. We always do all you can eat and it's always been spot on. I like their crab rangoons, shrimp tempura, and tiger eye rolls. Their tempura Oreo is also so good with some vanilla ice cream. Service is good, they always are so patient with us. Ambiance is really nice as well. Can't go wrong with choosing this place as your next dinner spot!

$19.99 for all you can eat lunch special and well worth it. Service is always fast and I usually go during peak lunch hours. Raw fish rolls are always fresh and great in my opinion. Calamari pictured is cooked perfected and paired with a sweet chili sauce. There are many options on the lunch special including salads, appetizers, rice, udon, dessert, and more. Give them a try. It's worth it.

Very fresh, very good service. Definitely can't wait to go back. Salmon sushi is my favorite and it was delicious. The wait time was a little long but it was a Friday night.

Sadly, this was a disappointing dining experience despite the reviews that I've seen here. As an All You Can Eat (AYCE) restaurant this just Durant hold the same quality as compared to other sushi places in the area. You can either order from a traditional menu or the AYCE menu (lunch: $20 & dinner $30).Within about a 10 to 15 minute drive from this location you can eat at Sumo Sushi or Kiki Sushi (both have AYCE options) and the quality is much better. The fried foods over the lunch hour were pre-fried so they didn't come out hot. It was warm, chewy and greasy. The oil was either not hot enough when cooked or old. fresh enough as the tempura fried calamari Gyoza all tasted too greasy. The shrimp hibachi and veggie hibachi were too salty. The sushi rolls were smaller than average around the area. The sashimi was not fresh. The tuna color was a dull red and not a vibrant color of fresh runs. The slices of sashimi were inconsistent; some were thin or thicker and were not at all uniform. The wasabi did taste freshly ground. I even paid for the dinner menu over the lunch hour, and despite having a large variety of choices, I was still very disappointed in the overall outcome.I wouldn't recommend going to this restaurant as I would suggest going to the other sushi places that I mentioned above. I will not be going back.Service was sufficient. Dinning area is average. There is outside seating available too. Parking is ample.
