Finally made our way to Sushi Den to celebrate our anniversary and it was absolutely delicious. It's a pretty large space with several different bars to sit at (cocktail and sushi). We were seated at a 2-top near the back and it was relatively comfortable. It's definitely a nice restaurant without feeling stuffy. It had a more relaxed atmosphere in my opinion with the focus being on good, quality food.We started with the miso soup and Garlic Calamari. That miso soup was incredibly flavorful and made us want another. The garlic calamari was not what we expected, but in the absolute best way. The calamari was incredibly tender, not at all chewy, and paired so well with the crunchy asparagus and delicate mushrooms. The sauce had a lot of depth and if we weren't in public we may have just drank it or at least poured it over some rice. So yummy. We opted for 5 rolls:Served first were the Rock-n-roll and the Tuna Firecracker. The quality was excellent. Fresh, perfectly portioned, and so well balanced in flavor. The smokiness of the salmon with the smooth cream cheese was divine. The Tuna Firecracker Roll was my favorite - the tuna was bright and decadent and paired extremely well with the jalapeño, onions, peppers, and cilantro without blowing out the flavor. I could have eaten 10 more. Next we were served the 3 tempura style rolls:Lobster Tempura RollSpider RollCrispy Bincho RollThe lobster was insanely tender and I loved the asparagus crunch with it. The Crispy Bincho was interesting and we loved the albacore tuna prepared that way. Would absolutely order all of these again. We didn't love the spider roll, but it's our own personal preference. With soft shell crab you're obviously getting the whole crab, but it was a little too crunchy and chewy for our liking. Still great flavor, but just not our cup of tea. The service was perfect. Our server was so kind and welcoming and everyone who ran our food or filled our drinks was attentive and pleasant. We got a little overview of the various restaurants tied to Sushi Den and he spoke with such pride and love that we immediately wanted to go try all of the others. He also brought out a little treat for our anniversary which was the perfect pallet cleanser to end our wonderful anniversary meal. Will absolutely be back!

This location has street parking only, however they do have valet so that's very convenient. We didn't have a reservation or anything but we were able to be quickly seated once we confirmed with the lady that we're able to finish our meal within 1 hour and 30 min or so. Lots of seating inside with it being dimly lit. However you're still able to see what's on the table because overhead there's individual spot lights that points down to the dining table which I thought was nice. They had 3 separate menus which the server helped provide helpful recommendations on. We did end up ordering quite a lot which came out to around $230 with tip included. Personally, my favorite sushi that we got was the lobster with aioli and I also really liked the chili oil that was used on the edamame. My least favorite was the salmon skin roll. It was fried and had an overwhelming fish flavor that just sucker punches your palate. The wagyu roll wasn't impressive either. I thought it would be a nice cut of wagyu rolled up so it was surprising to see it being in thin slices like at KBBQ places. It felt like I was eating brisket.Overall it was an okay experience but I wouldn't come back again since the price didn't cut it for me with the quality of the fish not being superb.

Was it an amazing experience? No. Was it a fresh food. Yes. Am I going back.... yes. Patios seating was good. You get to check out all sorts of people passing by.When our waitress started taking order for 6 tables all at once, I can sense that either she is very good or... She did forget few details at different table and had to come back sseveral times.Got the drinks but Sprite was flat so I had to take it back to a different bar. Not her fault. During Friday 5 pm dinner rush, place was busy. Busy as always.Ended up getting the main entrée before the soup or salad. So use to getting drink, soup, salad and main entrée in thar order but that didn't happen. It was perfect fall weather and patio ambiance was very relaxing

I had Sushi Den bookmarked for years, and somehow while I was taking a barre class, Eric R. convinced his sister and parents to join us at Sushi Den on our last night in town. He called and was assured it was fine to walk in without a reservation. When we arrived, people were being seated in Izakaya Den next door, which is closed on Mondays, so we were led to the back room of Izakaya Den. It is a beautiful space. Our server was very busy so it was a little bit tough initially to get drinks and refills, but overall he was great under pressure.I started with an iced green tea and a yuzu spritz mocktail, Eric R. got hot green tea and Sapporo, and his sister got a glass of rose. We marked up a sheet and ordered a ton of stuff, though two things I ordered were sold out (kinmedai and a cured bass from Greece). We ordered a bento box for Eric R.'s dad, which came with beef and salmon plus tempura, kinpira, and a California roll, miso soup, and a house salad. Eric R. got a seaweed salad to begin. For the table, we shared:Miso black cod - this was delicious!Toro n tuna - tuna sashimi wrapped around chopped tuna belly with a delicious sauceCrispy rice with spicy tuna - a table favorite with big pieces of jalapeno and avocado, topped with masagoMiso eggplant - served hot with other veggiesNigiri: Eric R.'s mom got scallop and Tasmanian ocean trout. I ordered aji. Eric R. and I both got salmon tartar with caviar and negihama handrolls, and I ordered a salmon skin handroll as well. Maki for the table included the tuna poki roll, rainbow roll (with avocado and cucumber inside rather than fake crab!), and the grilled vegetable roll. I finished the meal with genki roll (assorted fish, shiso, masago, and avocado in a big 5 piece roll). Everyone but me shared a pineapple upside down cake with vanilla ice cream and berries.Everyone was very happy, which is great because the quality was good. Uni was not available, and I was a little bummed to miss out on the two special fishes I ordered. However, we left satisfied and would definitely return. Itadakimasu!

Top item was the deluxe platter! I am really big on fresh ingredients and the one in the platter comes in from Tokyo! Service was good and ambiance was busy since it's a popular place for dinner. The Spider roll needed unagi sauce and less time in the fryer, and ingredients used for the assorted tempura needs work. Certain vegetables should only be used for tempura. In our assortment we had broccoli and I was not a fan. Since it steams as it's getting fried and how large of a piece it was, leads the inside to become soggy. If they can refine their menu and technique,I would give them five stars. However I will come back for the fish!

Sushi Den lives up to all the hype - it has fresh fish, friendly service, and is all around great. It is more of a classic sushi restaurant rather than a hip and modern style. The menu is quite giant so I would suggest to ask your server for recommendations if it is your first time there. My husband and I had reservations for 7pm on a Friday and it was packed and you definitely need a reservation. The restaurant itself is large and seemed to go on for a while. Even though we were seated toward the back, our server, Kazu, was always checking in and we never had to wait long for him to appear. We were in town for just the weekend and he gave us lots of suggestions for other places to check out.We got the Toro n Tuna (a popular option that sells out most nights), Jalapeño Hamachi, Mandarin Yellowtail, Negi Toro and Salmon Handroll, Tuna Tataki Salad, New Zealand Salmon Sashimi, and the Osaka Style Salmon Nigiri. Everything was super fresh and melt in your mouth. No complaints about Sushi Den and I would absolutely go back again after trying more of the Den restaurants.

My husband and I came here on a Sunday night for an early dinner. We didn't make any reservations but we got seated at the bar right away. The service was great and the fish was very fresh. This place did not disappoint!

This was our second visit to Sushi Den and it was even better than I remember. Pro tip: get there EARLY because items sell out fast. We arrived at around 4:30pm and ordered everything that typically sells out before the end of the night per our server's recommendation. Everything was fantastic. Favorites were: crispy spicy tuna, truffle sashimi, toro n tuna, the special nigiris.

FIRE! Go here! The food was so fresh and i for sure tasted some new flavors that I've never tried before. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. The restaurant would be great for a nice date night, low lights, great vibe. Literally couldn't even tell you all of the things we got, but they were all amazing!!!I know that for rolls we got tuna firecracker, new style salmon, & Canadian snow cap. All !!! For an app, we got the crispy spicy tuna and that was amazing as well. We took the waitresses reccos for nigiri and sashimi and she did great!

Went for dinner and had a wonderful experience at Sushi Den. Our waiter's name was SU and he was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The sushi was fresh, delicious and the best I've had in the region. It's a busy little neighborhood at dinner time and we were grateful for the valet parking!
