We've been meaning to get here, and finally this weekend made it twice. First for a kale salad, soup, and quinoa risotto dinner, with a French press pot of coffee. Then for a tofu scramble brunch. What a pleasant, healthful option in Bryn Mawr. We'll be back to try the collard greens wraps for lunch (also available in a wrap or on a bagel). Addendum: we were back again. This time I got a curry lentil spread with sprouts and veggies in collard green wrap. My wife got the curry tofu scramble and enjoyed that. A very nice lunch.

This trip marks my third to Sunset Moon and Wellness Superfood Cafe in Bryn Mawr, PA.In my prior reviews, you will make note I highlight my dissatisfaction in the establishment. I think I may have actually sworn that I wouldn't return. BUT, a good bit of time has passed and well, I do still long that a local healthy food option does still exist! After a morning filled with Yoga, I was longing for a fulfilling and satisfying meal, oh and did I mention, a fresh tea?!It was around 12:30 - 1:00 pm by the time we arrived and I found my party and maybe two other patrons inside the cafe - which made for a peaceful and intimate meal.I took a look at the menu and noticed some additions to the menu - we actually appealed to my senses, but I have been on this weird oatmeal kick, so I was pretty sure that I would be sticking with what my body has been craving.Giving ourselves some time to digest the menu and maybe change our minds, we started with a matcha tea.A few minutes later and our tea was served. Yum! Just what I needed. We decided that we had enough time to review the menu and ordered the Moon Scramble (tofu scramble, basil arugula pesto, carrot, celery, spinach, avocado, served over greens) and the oatmeal (I told you I would!). When I ordered the oatmeal, the waitress informed me that they had a fall special of a pumpkin oatmeal and I gladly took her advice and ordered it without hesitation! I also added a side of the homemade sunflower butter - because we all know my addiction to nut butter! The last visit to Sunset Moon, I recall having to wait for a ridiculous time period before our meals were ready and most came out with issues - however, this time around, our wait was no more than expected for a meal made-to-order.The oatmeal came out first and then shortly following the Moon Scramble was placed right under our noses to inhale the fresh basil pesto! Before I rudely begin to salivate, I dug into my pumpkin oatmeal and boy was it a bite full of fall! I slowly started to add in the creamy, and very fresh, sunseed butter! This oatmeal was warming, satisfying, and packed a full-bodied profile! The only recommendation I might add is that I was longing for something acidic, maybe a hint of dried or fresh cranberries? The Moon Scramble was fresh, light, and very green :). That basil pesto could be put onto just about anything, including dirt, and still make you want to eat it.Overall, the food has much improved! I left this time feeling very satisfied rather than still staving! The wait time was nothing to fret over! The service was professional and courteous!Plating was appealing!Price was doable- coming in around $30.00 for two meals, one french press, two matcha teas, and a medium (maybe small) pot of team.Thank you Sunset Moon and Wellness Cafe for hearing our review and making some awesome adjustments! The growth is amazing and I can't wait to return and invite others to do so as well!Gluten-free, vegan, organic, localhttp://gf-flamingo.blogspot.com/2017/11/sunset-moon-and-wellness-round-3-for-win.html

Staff was very kind, even (especially?) since the restaurant was pretty empty. Everything we ordered was quality, I just still can't figure out how I feel about paying basically $12 for a nut butter sandwich. (The Lavender Sunset. I'm sure they were all premium ingredients and if you've got a peanut allergy, aces, but... $12? Maybe throw some bananas on it or something and I won't balk quite as hard.)I want to come back, but I'm not a vegan (though I don't mind vegan food) so overcoming the pricepoint-to-nutrition-density thing is a hard sell for me.

What an adorable cafe! This gluten free, vegan cafe is delicious and the staff are knowledgeable, sweet and helpful. They helped direct me to a warm elixir for my cough and took pride in each item they served. The Chickpea based waffles came with absolutely delicious maple ginger syrup and fresh bananas and blueberries.

I have loved every experience here. The staff is very kind and helpful, the food and drinks are fantastic, and there is a lot of good reading material. I've had the cold brew latte, waffles, and kitchari meal and loved every bit of it. I can't wait to come back in the future and try their tea selections and the rest of the menu!

Love the variety of options at Sunset Moon Superfoods Cafe and was intrigued by the variety of services in addition to foods and drinks that they offer. We stopped in for two drinks, the Mocha Latte with Pecan Milk and the Cacao mocha maca latte. The service was excellent and the people behind the counter were very kind! My drink was warm and delicious. The pecan's presence was definitely there. Next time I'll probably choose a different milk. I look forward to trying other foods as well. I like the unique options on their menu!
