Sunrise Donuts

Best spot in town for a quick breakfast. From the donuts to the kolaches to the crosiant breakfast sandwiches, everything is delicious and made with care. The staff is very friendly as well. The whimsical colored donut characters they make on the weekends are great for kids, my 2 year old loves them!

If you're looking for quality food and service. This is the place! Not overpriced, delicious donuts and kolaches. Donuts are soft and warm. Better than shipleys I must say.

Seriously the BEST jumbo jalapeno sausage kolache I've ever had! The bread is SO soft and tasty like a yeast roll. Amazing raspberry long johns and filled donuts too... raspberry, Bavarian custard, and strawberry are the ones I've tried... donuts are filled when you order, so very fresh! You must give this place a try!

Donuts are always fresh, the service is very friendly and efficient, and the Vietnamese coffee is amazing!

An extension of the local chain around the corner from me. Staff is courteous, patient and helpful. All of your south Texas favorites are here; kolaches, plain glazed, and cake blueberry on full display.Grab a coffee or OJ to go along with it.

3-3.5 stars. Great location for kings river village folks. Friendly service as well. The reason I didn't give it more stars was that the food was (unfortunately) only average. Donuts seemed slightly smaller than other places, but the main thing that got me was that the filling was minimal (see pics). They can take a donut and fill it up in the back with whatever you want. That was nice. The chocolate filling is of the pudding variety (not butter cream). Also by 8 am on Saturday it seemed they had run out of many donuts (eg, only 1 chocolate frosted long john left). They have a boudin kolache which was interesting and different, but I will probably stick to the original sausage next time though. I really liked their apple fritter which was crunchy/crispy in parts of it adding a nice texture difference.

Love the bread they use for their kolaches. Must try their boudan kolaches as well. I bring them to work and always get the same reaction, where did you get those and there delicious. The lady at the counter is so sweet and always has a smile. Try the Apple Fritters, soft inside and slightly crunchy outside. Easy in and out from Kings River.

These kolaches are amazing. The kolache bread is so soft and tasty. Perfection. The donuts are really good too. I usually get plain glazed donut and eclaire. Good price too. Staff is really friendly and super accommodating. Made tons of last minute requests for large orders for office breakfast. Always ready on time. Coworkers love me, I love sunrise donuts and kolaches!

Donuts and kolaches are always fresh! Personally I like their donuts better than Shipley's. Owner is super friendly. Please help our small and local businesses.
