Would probably give this place a 3.5 stars. First of all, you have to be careful when driving here. There is a small private lot in the back but there are no barriers separating the parking lot and the drive thru queue so cars are coming from all sorts of directions. The interior has a cute and modern motif. It's actually pretty spacious and there's plenty of seating for small or large parties. I came during the weekend to catch up on work and the noise level was tolerable to where I could focus and tune everything out. This place received a lot of hype due to the viral croissant swirls with filling. I don't usually gravitate towards pastries with filling but luckily the menu is diverse with sweet and savory options. I ordered the brisket tacos which were delicious. The brisket was tender but also had bits that were crispy. The chocolate chip cookie I ordered was so big and dense I could only eat a few bites. I also ordered the sunday shakerato but it wasn't anything special. Either there wasn't enough espresso or it was too dilute. The pricing on everything is reasonable and comparable to other brunch places. I'd consider coming back for the food but not sure if it's a place I'd recommend as far as coffee goes.

The two stars is for the manager and the staff because they worked with a smile on their face, despite the crowd and the current conditions of the establishment they have to work in. I'd never heard of Sunday Press and only saw it as we drove past. The exterior was aesthetically pleasing that we turned around and decided to have Sunday breakfast/brunch there. There was plenty of parking and a drive thru which was convenient. As we walked in, I immediately noticed the bright light, comfortable feel and soft colors chosen for the decor. I loved it at first but after a few minutes, I began to notice so many things were off. So, with that said, this review is SPECIFICALLY for the owner. There are so many ways to improve this cafe and I hope you take the time to read this review and hopefully implement some of them. -Close down for a week and hire professionals to DEEP clean the entire cafe. The chairs are filthy, the tables have grim all over it and the floors are sticky. The staff can only do but so much. -Get rid of the cloth couches and replace them with leather. Easier to clean. -Change the table tops to a different material. -To reduce the build up of a line forming, especially for those who may not be dining in, add one or two kiosks by the door where people can order and wait for their order to be ready. -Place the menu on a digital monitor and/or move the paper menu from where it's currently located. Having people sift through the menu when they are already at the cashier creates a disrupts the flow in traffic. -Get rid of all the clutter at the cashier station. There's so much crap and most of it is dusty. If it looks like that out front, what does the kitchen look like?-Either get a sound system so when staff calls out an order, patrons can actually hear them OR hand out numbers and when orders are ready, the number will display on a monitor. -Get some real plants to help with oxygen flow in there. The air is stale. -There should always be always be two staff members on the floor (on busy days) turning tables around and running food from the kitchen to the floor. There's so much potential and from reading the other reviews, it used to be beautiful but it just hasn't been well maintained. The food (I got an acai bowl, avocado toast and tea) was decent but l was too distracted by how dirty everything was.

Place has gone down hill - dirty, expensive, and there is nothing to shop anymore. The pastry display was completely empty. Food on chairs and couches. I don't know what happened to this place. Sad.Floors and tables were sticky - the place looked like it was closing down. Not sure what is going on. The nitro was tasting really terrible as well. Hope the get it together, used to love the vibe - not sure we will be coming back.Luce across the street is 10X better. Head over there and get an Iced Cream Americano.

We stopped here to eat lunch before participating in our activities in the park. We were all impressed with our food. It was extremely crowded inside so we decided to dine outdoors. Service was excellent. This restaurant was formerly known as Ginger Kale.

This coffee shop has got to be one of the cutest and most aesthetically pleasing ones out there in Houston. Although it is a far drive up north I'd say it was worth it. There is parking space in the back and there's a good amount of tables but most of them had one person using up the whole table that could've sat more. The menu had so much to choose from and it is on the pricier side. The service was pleasant and we got our food and drinks in a short span. The food was nothing mind-blowing but the drinks were good and hit the spot. We got a lot of work done and there's also plenty of photo ops here if that's what you're also there for!

I've been to Sunday Press twice, and have tried their Honey Lavender Latte, fruit tart, strawberry cheesecake, and three of their different croissant swirl flavors. Honey Lavender Latte: was lukewarm even when taking a sip after it was received, and did not have much honey or lavender flavor.Fruit Tart: I wish the tart shell had been flaky. Instead it was comparable to a tart shell that you could get from the frozen aisle of a supermarket. The custard also didn't have much flavor to it, leaving only the fruit to provide much taste to the overall pastry. There are definitely better fruit tarts for lower prices elsewhere.Croissant swirls: all of the ones that I tried were way too sweet for me to truly enjoy. The vroissant was also very dense rather than flaky, and would not be something I would order again. Luckily, when we arrived, it was close to closing, and the croissant swirls were half off. However, they may sometimes run out before end of business.Strawberry Cheesecake: also nothing special. The amount of whipped cream topping the cake was overpowering. This would not be something I would get again.Strawberry Matcha Chia Seed Pudding: was one of the only good items. It had just the right amount of sweetness from the strawberries, but the matcha taste wasn't very strong. Overall, none of the items have really impressed me to a point where I would return a third time. Although the cafe is really cute, and a seems like a great place to get some studying or work done, their sweets fall short of expectations for the price tag.

I received my order and this is what I got. Out right disgusting and should have never been given to a customer. When I called, the person who answered stated "oh you got an overcooked one" as if this has happened before. This made my appetite completely go away.

I've been driving past this place for some time and finally decided to make a stop here. I could see the cute décor from the outside windows which is what initially attracted me to this place, and I have to say the place is even cuter inside. Lots of white furniture and white walls which makes the place super bright inside. Now, I am not a coffee drinker so perhaps I am not qualified to make this review but what I can say is that the chai latte was pretty solid. It came out quickly, and i thoroughly enjoyed the taste. I was able to easily snag a table despite the Sunday morning rush and we got to relax, play cards, and people watch while we drank our tea. Taking one star off for service + cleanliness. Most tables were visibly dirty, and there was lots of crumbs on the floor :(

Amazing restaurant! Service is amazing and food is quick to hit the tables! Every item is fresh, chewy, creamy, and delicious. I always have to order at least 5 things (not kidding lol ). Great place to do my work with the calming environment around me. The ambiance is just delightful with the calm, relevant music and the smell of the delicious food! By far my absolute favorite restaurant. I come back almost every week.

Love the vibe here - wish I could replicate such a bright, airy aura in my house! Came for breakfast and coffee on a Saturday morning around 9am - the place was busy but not packed, so no issue finding parking or seating. By the time we left around noon, it was definitely packed with people waiting for tables, so plan accordingly! They have a great menu of options for food, coffees, teas, you name it. I know I like a place when they offer a London Fog (not too many places do!) - my friend ordered it and I had serious FOMO, but my latte was also really nice. They also have those trendy circular stuffed croissants, so a good time all around.
