Great spot for a double date in Kendall Square area! The food is great-- I really enjoyed the truffle burrata to start, and I got the chicken parm as my entree which was great as well. I really liked the melted mozzarella on the chicken, it was a great addition! The burrata was great, though I would've preferred more bread to go along with it. My only complaint about this restaurant is that I made a persistent request to shut the window-- it was a chilly night and my party was seated right along the window. The host and waitstaff claimed it couldn't be done because it was "manual", which didn't make much sense, but the meal certainly made up for it. Great food and drinks!

My girlfriend and a few friends and I made a reservation last week for Sulmona, and it was nice!I wasn't the most impressed with the service for the most part. While my girlfriend and I arrived early and were seated promptly while we waited for our friends, it was a bit chilly and we were right next to the window. We asked for the window to please be closed, to which they weren't able to. They also weren't able to move us despite the multiple open tables around us. While we were a bit cold throughout the night, the food (and the rest of the night) really made up for it. We started with the truffle burrata, which was delicious however the portion could have been a bit bigger for four people. We got an array of dishes including pastas, wild boar ragu, chicken parm, and porchetta. We were all really impressed, mostly so with the wild boar ragu- a great option! Our waiter really made sure the service was improved throughout the night. He verified allergies/restrictions at our table and even brought the chain from my friend's bag outside that had fallen off inside the restaurant. Overall a solid option for Italian food in Cambridge!

We went here for a team outing and for such a fancy restaurant with steep prices in a prime part of Cambridge, I was really disappointed by the service and honestly the food. I was craving some italian and sadly this place did not meet the standard. Now the part I would come back for are the appetizers. There was a meat and cheese platter and the fritto misti that we really enjoyed (it even included fried sardines that were a hit!). We ordered the truffle burrata which tasted nothing like truffle, it felt like one tsp of truffle oil was drizzled on top, but a let down nonetheless. The portion size to the price was not worth it in my opinion. There was probably a half serving of linguine in my clam linguine, with only 6 clams. The lobster ravioli's lobster portion was also severely overcooked, it barely came off the shell! The bread served with the prosciutto was hard as a rock! We also ordered a bottle of wine, which they first forgot to bring and gave us a complimentary glass (nice of them), and then brought back a bottle of warm wine. We had to ask twice for a glass of ice to try and cool it down. There were several times we had to repeatedly ask the waitress for simple things such as silverware or more water that took longer than we anticipated. We expected more from this location and would hesitate to come back for even the vibe!

Everyone I know calls this place the Cafe Luna back-up for when Cafe Luna is too busy. They aren't wrong, but Sulmona is a pretty good alternative. Been for brunch a couple of times. The place is airy and comfortable. The French toast is meh, but I really like their porchetta panini.

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by what a good lunch I had here! If I could find anything to nitpick, it would just be that the server didn't check in on us as frequently as I would have wanted them to. It took us a while to order and a while to pay the check, because we couldn't find someone to help.First off, Sulmona was decorated for the holidays and it looked so nice indoors. I loved the natural lighting and how open it was. I ordered the spaghetti and a side house salad. The spaghetti portion was small, but the side house salad was huge! Made me wonder how big the actual entree size is. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly al dente (how I like it). And the house salad was delicious as well! Would def recommend this combo for lunch / I would love to come back for dinner next time!

The food was great, and the service was good. The only thing was that we did not have one waiter. We had different waiters and it took a lot of work to place orders. When we ordered desserts they kept forgetting what we ordered and how many. Other than that the food was great. I ordered small appetizer "PANZEROTTI", and a dessert that was on their special menu. Desserts called "Dolce," it was Tiramisu. I was in love with it. I also tried their special "Limoncello Spritzer." It was okay. If you like Limoncello, you will like it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice, and the decor is good. It is kind of hard to find parking. They do not have a parking outside of the restaurant.

3.5/5The decorations and ambience here are quite nice, but I would pass on the brunch food and only come here for dinner in the future.

Came here for brunch on a weekend. Wasn't busy and there's plenty of room. Service was good. Food was tasty, but didn't blow me away. They have a broad menu so maybe I'll return to try something else in the future. The scene and ambiance is well suited for a group of friends to catch up so invite me next time you head there.

I thought the internal decor was nice and spacious. The food and service were also good, but not anything to write home about. Would be down to come back and try their brunch options.

I always walk by because I work in the area but had never been. A coworker suggested it for lunch and glad he did. Had the chicken Parmesan with rigatoni pasta and it was very delicious. Was seated right away and our waiter was very nice. Will definitely be returning!
