As a bougey girl with high standards in bars and restaurants, I can confidently say that Sully's is a gem! Don't let the dive bar look fool you- you get great drinks and food for an excellent price and from even better staff. Andy's the well known bartender that'll treat you right at this no-frills spot for drinks and grub. TVs are available for sports watching, and music is nice and not too loud either. I've so far had the fried pickles, Greek salad, and southwest fried chicken wrap with tots- all amazing bar food. Not the kind you typically get at other dive bars where you question if it was from a frozen aisle at the grocery store! The margarita is tasty and refreshing too. Can't wait for rooftop and patio season here!

My lovely wife was in the area due to an appointment in the NewCity complex, so she selected Sully's House to have a beer. Since this timed well with the end of my workday on a Friday afternoon, we stayed for food as well. We sat at the bar, and the bartender slowly but surely managed to keep all of us at the bar happily eating and drinking. I just happened to select the $5 beer special that day (Spiteful Alley Time) so I was pleased with that stroke of good fortune. My love was comped one beer because she was accidentally served the wrong beer selection, so she was happy with that too. Our food was not too bad at all, served with thick paper plates and plastic cutlery. My Italian beef was topped with cheese and a side of au jus, and I added on a side of fries which I split with my love as it was a generous portion (with the $4 add-on price, we were glad about the portion size). My love went with the lamb wrap, which looked like a big burrito stuffed with a cut-up lamb burger, lettuce, tomato, onion, feta cheese and tzatziki sauce.

After a long touristy day of walking, I ordered the lamb wrap. I was fairly disappointed by the fact that the protein was a bit mushy and more of a condiment rather than the main event. Add one star because my server was awesome. He was very attentive and helpful with my beverage selection.

Came here for an event and the staff were amazing! They were three deep at the bar but held it down very well, stellar service.Food was good, drinks were good, everything was priced well. Shout out to Austin for also giving some excellent recs on where to eat and drink around Chicago. Much appreciated, and so on point.Central and walkable to other cool stuff, highly recommended!

My roommate and I wanted to go to a bar in our area to become more familiar with our area! We specifically were on the hunt for jalapeño poppers and Gin & Tonics. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner's son (very handsome), and were seated. Despite there not being more than 2 people in the bar (around 5pm when we arrived), it felt comfortable and homey. Our server was the absolute sweetest, made us laugh, and was easy to talk to. Their jalapeño poppers were delicious and served with a chipotle ranch that I even took home!! Bar started to fill up with a ton of people from the neighborhood around 6-7pm, get there before the crowd! We had such a great time we even went back around 1am after our night of drinking. Sadly they were closing early because it wasn't that busy. Will definitely be back!!

I've spent many Sundays frequenting Sully's after softball. It's your average bar but it has an excellent rooftop and lots of patio space. With the Covid environment, the extra patio space is ideal. They have sanitizer when you walk in, employees with masks and gloves, and washed down menus. Sully sticks and pizza was as good as always.For being average, 3 stars, the 4th is for the rooftop and friendly staff. Right now they don't offer pitchers of beer or water. Only selling water for $2 a bottle which seems extreme. Should be able to sell that at cost since it's a safety measure...

Bar is cute neighborhood place. We only had appetizers, fried pickles/chips and salsa. PicklesWere spears, too big. Chips were thick and stale. Drinks were average but service was good. Maybe a different menu item or two would make me think differently.

Good bar for sports! 8 TVs ib bar area. Awsome spacipus patio in summer. The food menu is upscale bar fare with quite a variety. It's a bit off the mainstream neighborhoods but worth the visit. Came with friends and we unanimously had a great time!!
