This is the place I go to when I miss home. Food is really good. I mostly prefer the Vaishnav thali. The phulkas are fresh and super soft. I also like their Vada Pav, Misal, Thepla and Mirchi bhajiya too. It's reasonably priced, pure vegetarian, and hygiene rating is great. Seating could get congested at times so I tend to avoid peak times. Parking is ample. They have a fresh sweets store which I love. always pack a to-go date. Also there's an Indian grocery store next door. So I place an order, shop my groceries, eat, and head back. Works for perfect for me.

Went here after many years since we wanted to give it another try and was so glad we did. The seating is limited but luckily we went around 8:30pm so there was ample seating. We ordered Punjabi Thali and the Jain Thali. Both Thali's were very filling, flavorful and tasty. They have a lot of Indian desserts on display too if you would like to try. And their Sanitary Rating is 99. They only serve Vegetarian food. Please go try them if you are craving for a vegetarian Thali.

We did a quick take out for the thaali, Bhel, some assorted Mithai, Masala Chai, Mirchi Vada and Khandvi.First: know that this is a Gujarati inclined farsaan place. The food is spiced perfectly to the spice palette of Indians.Khandvi: Beautiful layers of perfectly cooked Besan into rolls of joy. This is a harder farsaan of the Gujarati foods and it was pretty perfect!Thaali: Gujarati Daal, Dudhi Chana vegetable, Bhindi vegetable, rice, and oh-so-perfect soft super thin Gujarati chapatis! Heaven for $7!Masala chai: it was just rightKalakand: yum! AuthenticKaju Katli: it had no silver Varakh, clearly no color and tasted great!Mirchi Vada: spicy large pepper fried with no stuffing and was spicy and awesome. Milk Cake: authentic, sweet Dudh Halwo. Will come back and highly recommend to anyone seeking a nice gujju snack!

Very nice authentic Gujarati vegetarian place. I wish there was one in vegas. Some of the foods that I loved growing up, that take a lot of time to cook, are all available here for a very reasonable price. We ordered their vaishnav thali that comes with assortment of different curries, rice, roti, Puran poli, khaman, sweet dish, salty lassi (a yoghurt based drink) and masala papad. Unfortunately they ran out of papad so we didn't get any.. they didn't inform us and didn't offer a substitute. Also tried pav Bhaji, frankie (which is literally the pav bhaji stuffing inside the roti with onions and cheese), sabudana vada, chole bhature and some sweets. The first round of khaman had a burnt smell to it, so had to return and they happily replaced with a fresh new batch. There was just one person doing everything, taking orders, delivering to table and clearing it, and he was so polite and efficient. If I lived here, I would be a regular!

Went here with my wife on a Friday evening and we went specifically for the Thali. The place is a small place next to around the world Indian store in Raleigh. It's a simple place for homely food so don't expect a high end experienceWe tried two different Thalis - the Punjabi thali and the Jain Thali ... the Jain thali was excellent. Very authentic and tasty...We have been waiting for the triangle to have a thali place similar to Rajadhani in los angeles and this is the closest in the taste.

I am sure this is one of very good restaurant in United states for North Indian Vegetarians. Staff is welcoming, food is authentic and ambience is OK. Rest assured they will serve fresh cooked food.We visited this restaurant during hurricane season in Florida and were visiting Cary. Punjabi thali, village that(Gujarati), samosa, jaledi, Khaman are amazing.

I have been here twice.. Once for Sweets/namkeen and second time for food. While sweets turned out to be good, food was just average.I was looking to get some Holi special sweets for celebration at work. I got Gujiya, Halwasan, Sweet Cutlet (similar to gulab jamun cut in pieces with coconut powder on sides). We also got couple of namkeen and everything turned out to be good.I was curious to try out their food as they had lot of options on menu. I got Aloo tikki chat, Samosa chat, Pav bhaji. Aloo tikki itself wasn't fried but just boiled potatoes clumped together.Samosa chat was also very average with Samosa itself tasting okay but nothing special in chutneys too. With Pav bhaji, bhaji was just like you make at home but Pav being a little too dry.Overall, it's a good place for Sweets and Namkeen but I wouldn't go here for food again.

An excellent no-frills Sit down Indian eatery! While we were eating, a number of Indian people came in for food also. That tells me that my decision to come here was a good one!Make sure you let them know you're here or you'll be waiting " long-time"! Ring that bell!If you're a fan of Punjabi/Hindi dishes, you won't be sorry!

The New Jersey one is definitely better (in terms of quality). Some of the items we got was really nice like Khaman dhokla, khichu, and lilac kachori. I personally wanted to try the thali but they have very limited items available in the menu now. So the thali is not available.

Since I didn't know what anything on the menu was, I got some help from a customer and the worker. Once you eliminate potatoes because I don't like them and deep fried choices, I was left with a half-pound mound of rice flour and spices. I didn't know what I was ordering. It was sort of like mashed potatoes. So I was disappointed. My 14 year old ordered a Marsala soda. He too didn't know what he was ordering. He thought it would be sweet, not salty and spicy. Not good. So lesson learned we should have done some homework. He was smart enough to order the Thali for $12.50. That was a sampler from appetizer to sweet treat. I sampled his sampler and it was good, way better than my blob of khichu. It seems that this bakery, causal dinner is a popular spot among people who understand what's on the menu. If you're looking to explore the cuisine, you're going to be given lots of choices, reasonable priced, served by nice people in a seemingly clean establishment (health dept score of 95), but do not expect a descriptive menu. Even the verbal description contained a lot of unknowns. Next time I'll consult the Dummies Guide to Indian food, stick to restaurants with pictures on the menu or do the buffet of experiments.
