Sugarcane in Midtown Miami is a lowkey gem with the cutest vibes. The restaurant has a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot for unwinding with friends or a casual date night. The food here is absolutely delightful. The bacon-wrapped dates were a standout, perfectly sweet and savory. One of the highlights was the duck rice. It wasn't on the menu, but our server recommended it, and it was worth every bite. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, it was a hidden gem that I'd highly recommend asking about. The decor adds to the charm, with a cozy, chic design. The service was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a cool spot with great food and a laid-back vibe, Sugarcane in Midtown Miami is definitely worth checking out!

I've been to Sugarcane several times and always have a nice experience. They offer a pretty good happy hour from 5-7 Monday-Friday. Plenty of cocktail options for $8 as well as beer and wine. They also have some good bites for $8! I've tried 2 rolls which were both yummy as well as the Brussel sprouts. My boyfriend and I both agreed they were some of the best Brussel sprouts we've had at a restaurant in a while. From the main menu, we tried the branzino which was very large! There were 2 small pieces so it made it easy to share as we weren't starving. This past time we visited, service was just okay. The waitress didn't seem pleased to be there, although she did her job so we can't really complain. We sat inside this time, but I prefer the outdoor terrace which is really cute.

I live down the street in midtown and often stop in for their happy hour which is from 4-7. They have a nice outdoor terrace with a bar, that almost makes you feel like you're on vacation! Drinks are $8 and they have a pretty good variety and get them to you quick. They also have some bites for $8- my personal fav is the spicy tuna roll.As for their dinner menu, I probably just haven't tried the right dishes because I haven't been blown away. I've tried the duck fried rice (amongst a couple others) which appears to not be on the menu anymore, so they must have listened to customer feedback! I'll have to come back and try more dishes! Overall, a solid spot in the Midtown neighborhood!

Great atmosphere and location. Service was very good and the individuals who cleared the empty dishes from the table were very efficient. Ordered a 2021 Cab Sav which was good in addition to the tempura shrimp sushi that was very delicious; almost wanted to order more. Tried the skirt steak that came with a watercress salad, the flavor of the watercress was a bit too saucy and tart; the steak was on the verge of warm when I received it & lacked much flavor. Overall, my experience was okay.

This place gives off the best vibes and if you guys do come here, I would recommend outdoor seating because of the nice weather. Our server Ricky was amazing, one of the best servers ever here, he was very friendly to us! It's very accommodating for a group of 7 people like our group. What we ordered:Drinks: the cock tails here are simply delicious, I personally ordered the lychee crisp and let you tell how amazing it is. You can't even taste the alcohol but it does slowly creep up to you. Goat cheese croquette (5/5): if you check in on yelp, you can get this appetizer as complimentary. Crispy on the outside and ooozing with goat cheese in the inside dipped with guava jam around. Never seen anything like this before but it was so delicious. Beef tartare (2/5): this came marinated with ponzu and other citrus juice, top with potato kettle chips and a quail egg. We were not a big fan of this dish because we felt like the beef was way too gamy for our taste! This was my first time trying this, would not be ordering this dish again. Hakkido scallop (3/5): super fresh scallops but was not a big fan of the pineapples that was paired with it. We felt like the pineapple was over powering the scallops itself. Duck fried rice (5/5): this item is not on the menu anymore but they are willing to accommodate if you ask them. It was a big enough portion for each of us to try some. The duck was prepped super well and the flavors on this dish absolutely crazy! A must order if you come here! Sushi rolls: the sushi rolls here are a bit tiny but don't let that discourage you from ordering. They are packed with so much flavor and umami that each roll we ordered was so good! You can taste how super fresh they prep the fish. Overall, outside patio over inside any day due to the nice weather in Miami. The food good overall and we would love to come back next time to try different items.

I've gone to sugarcane multiple times over the years and it never disappoints! A staple in the midtown area Good food, drinks, service and ambiance! This time I stopped by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with my sister and let's just say we stayed for much longer than intended as the food and drinks were superb! Highly recommend

I love this place! The food is always good and the drinks are amazing. They have partnered with their sister property Duck & Waffle on a couple of the menu items and they are always a hit. I recommend coming earlier in the day like a 6:30 - 7:30 sit outside and be dazzled by the twinkling lights they have and the sun setting. It's just chefs kiss. Also I recommend getting a reservation because this place can get pretty busy. The servers are always welcoming and always check to make sure everything is okay or to your satisfaction. My favorite dish which they need to bring back on the menu is the bone marrow with the veal cheek marmalade it's absolutely remarkable but so are the oysters they are fresh and have a sweet subtle briny taste. The yellow tail crispy rice is also really good with the extra crispy rice and the melt in your mouth yellowtail absolutely anaxin

It's been years since I've been here, and I'm so glad I came back. We came here on a whim after a late event and the sushi was surprisingly really good! My favorite was this torched yellowtail jalapeño roll. We also got the spicy tuna roll, but the price wasn't worth the amount of rolls it came with. The croqueta appetizer was great, pig ears were too salty (basically left untouched), and lamb chops were amazing!!! I'd come back just for the lamb chops and sushi

I've been dining at this restaurant for years and I've always had a great experience but yesterday was incredible. Not only the service was great but also my Bronzino was unbelievable. I usually hate taking photos of my food but I couldn't resist not sharing this dish with everyone. Highly recommend it for those of that want a super healthy and delicious meal
