I had an amazing time at Steak 48. I was in Philly to watch the Liverpool soccer game so it was only right the monster invade Steak 48. My sister also lives there, so I invited her & her friend to join me. The ambiance was low lighting, the music was just right & the people respected the dress code. I love entering a restaurant and seeing laughter and big smiles. When I'm in Gorilla mode, I just want the biggest and best-tasting steak in the house. My waiter was amazing and he got me right. He went to the back & blessed me with a 30oz Australian wago (not on the menu) which cost about $400.00 and it was AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perfectly cooked to medium, in truffle butter ( I believe)with truffle butter on the side. Not only was the steak a beauty, but the presentation was identical. Show me a little extra love for purchasing that kinda cow. Lol. My sister ordered the 3oz Japanese A5 Waygo at medium rare and it was smooth and tasty! Her friend ordered the 12oz Prime New York strip medium well. He said he enjoyed it. The Shell & cheese was pretty good. Super, super cheesy, but tasted better the following day for leftovers. 7/10. The spinach dip was hitting too. 8/10. Now, this corn crème brûlée is special. 10/10. This is what I look for when separating different restaurants. Your side dishes have to be memorable...unique! This dish is a "Must order". Before our food came, we ordered sea salt & garlic parm rolls and they were the perfect introduction to what we were about to experience at this restaurant. I loved every minute. I have to go back and try more dishes, but it still gets 5 stars from me. Steak 48 also stipulates a $100.00 per person minimum and an 18% automatic tip for a party of five or more. I spent like $750.00 or so, and I'm not mad. Love this place. This place seats a lot of people, the it's still spacious enough that your party can have a conversation without people all up on you. I'm visiting the Chicago location in October to explore more of the menu. Hope you enjoy it. #TeamDiesel#TeamDiesel4Evaaaa

Wow! I'm not sure what took me so long to visit this establishment but after my first time, I became hooked! This opinion is from a bar experience (first time experience) visit but I've since had table side service and it's honestly and truly an amazing restaurant overall. The lighting, music and space of this venue makes it unique. When you walk in and are greeted by not just one but maybe three staff professionals who are excited to welcome you in is a plus! Pictured here, I've named the items. I'd recommend the Whipped Praline Sweet Potato, Au Gratin Potatoes and the Corn Crème Brúlee!! I got the NY strip Med+, and it came out to perfection. My most recent visit I tried the Shetland Island Salmon and my friend got the Roasted Branzino Filet, both great options! A note about the cute, CLEAN, and chic bathroom with the beautiful carpet: Nice Shoes. The staff is incredible with their knowledge, engagement and overall care of making sure you have a great experience! I really enjoy the bar staff, Fin, Rob and everyone who is on the team! My server recently, Donald was truly a gem and outstanding with his service and attentiveness during my visit. Looking for value for what you pay, kind and knowledgeable staff, and a great meal, please visit the Philadelphia location of Steak48.

It was my first time here and it was for a company function. The service was impeccable from the hostess station to the servers to the bussers. I had the braised salmon, and it was fork tender and so flavorful. We had a variety of sides for the group. I heard high praise for the crème brulee corn, the asparagus, and scalloped potatoes. I also had the Warm Vanilla Caramel Cake suggested by the server and she was right, it was amazing. It is located across the street from South Park Mall, it cannot be seen from the road. It is in the APEX. Snooze AM eatery is on the corner as location reference. And as others have mentioned it is on the pricier side, but worth it for a memorable evening out.The only "sort of issue" we had, as a group of a certain age, was the lighting. It was very dark and hard to read the menu. We dined around 6pm all the windows were covered; they raised the blinds around 9pm when we were leaving.

Had a fantastic date night while visiting Philadelphia, I wanted to try a nice steak house while visiting. This restaurant is located right in the middle of the city, we took a Lyft but they do offer valet service. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful and we were seated immediately. It was a week night so it wasn't too crowded. The staff were so professional and prompt. The waiter explained the menu very thoroughly and answered any questions we had. We skipped our appetizers and went straight to our entree which I'm glad because it was a lot of food. I ordered the steak 48 meatloaf and my boyfriend ordered the bone in ribeye. The entrees did not come with sides but they are shareable. We ordered cheese and shells, mashed potatoes and mushrooms for the table. When our food came to the table the staff actually plated everything for us which was really nice. I've never had service like that before. When done they boxed everything for us and we were even given hot towels for our hands when we finished dinner! Very upscale and classy restaurant. The waiter even gave us his business card as we were headed out and the next day I got a call from the restaurant to ask how my experience was. What an amazing service. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice romantic night out if you don't mind spending the money. The bill did come to around $300 and they automatically add gratuity to the bill.

I was visiting Philly to celebrate my fiancés birthday. He's a big restaurant critic but totally enjoyed this experience. He gave it 5 stars and said this was by far one of the best steak restaurants he has visited. We will be back!

Not cheap, but good quality, especially for the local choices. Good wines too! Not much else to say.

Steak 48 outdoes themselves in all aspects. Holy smokes, those steaks were on perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor. And that bread!!? I could eat that all day. But here's the real kicker: the service. The staff treated us like old pals, making sure our celebration for our new apartments was next-level awesome. They went out of their way to make us feel special, by offering complimentary champagne when we arrived and a personal congratulatory note on our accomplishment. So thoughtful and classy!!! Bottom line: Steak 48 is the bomb dot com. Whether you're marking a big moment or just craving a high quality meal, this is the place. Be ready to spend, but trust me, you won't regret it!

I think this is one of the great ones in my Steakhouse history. Appetizers, salads, steaks, salmon, drinks, sides, desserts. Everything was delicious. If you like creamed corn you need to try the corn brulee. It's a side but could have been an interesting dessert too.Pleasant greeting, steakhouse atmosphere, terrific service. Normally I don't like when the server tries to upsell everything on the menu, which ours did, but he was so professional and subtle about it and not totally "in your face" like they are at other restaurants. Here I felt it was just part of the experience. Looking forward to when they open up in the NYC Metro area.

I honestly don't know where to start! I guess I'll start with the service, it was impeccable to say the least lol Miles was our server he was extremely attentive and gave a thorough review of the menu and suggestions! I was waiting to see what the hype was about and steak 48 exceeded all my expectations! For starters we got the crispy shrimp deviled eggs which was definitely different but they were good more so the shrimp so next time I'll just get the crispy shrimp as the appetizer. We also got the fried chicken lobster tail! 10/10. It was so good, the sauce added to it! For dinner I got the filet 12oz, lobster mac thought I asked for broccolini but he noted that wasn't on the menu it was sautéed broccoli so I got that, everything was even better the next day! My date got the rack of lamb and baked potato which he throughly enjoyed! I got a butter cake and ice cream for my birthday dessert, it was so warm and delicious. At the end of dinner they served warm wet towels for your hands and two tasty chocolate chip cookies. I'm upset I wasn't able to book one of those private booths, it would've set the dinner off perfectly but next time I will.

I went to Steak 48 for my birthday. There was confusion with the hostess when I arrived. I requested a certain area to be seated and they took me to another location. They eventually corrected it. It was a nice touch to receive a handwritten birthday card upon arrival. Our server Mike was amazing! I truly njoyed the Lemon Martini. The crispy shrimp deviled eggs, pork belly, Chilean Seabass, asparagus and creamed spinach were delicious. The large shrimp were rubbery, the corn pudding was too sweet for my taste and the sweet potatoes were too tangy. My friend was not impressed with his steak but didn't complain. He also didn't finish it.Overall, the ambiance was very nice and the dining experience was good, just not as expected.
