Star Pizza is my go-to deep dish spot in Houston and has been for a long time.It has a comfortable, cozy restaurant vibe and has consistently delivered great service and excellent food. While I have tried some of their pasta dishes and really enjoyed them. my go-to order for the table is a Caesar salad and a deep dish. The caesar dressing is a little heavy on the garlic but personally, that's just how I like it. The deep dish is the best I have had outside of Chicago. The crust is always slightly crisp on the outside while remaining just slightly doughy in the center, with the perfect ratio of toppings, cheese, and sauce. I have tried many of their topping options and can honestly say I've never had a bad pizza here. If you're in the mood for a laid-back, consistently amazing deep-dish pizza I would highly recommend checking out Star Pizza.

You always know what you're gonna get when you come here. Great food, amazing service, and desserts when you walk out. I honestly think their Coke is equivalent to McDonald's. That Miss beer is like grandma's house just keeps you warm inside while you're enjoying good pizza.Plus, I love the fact that you have a gender, specific restrooms that are cleanParking is very convenient. Best Deep Dish I ever had outside of Chicago!!! And the rest of the menu is amazing as well really can't go wrong at this place! A+ and their food is consistent. Service was incredible! They closed at 10pm I called at 9:50 pm they still took my delivery order which most other places would have NOT!

I have been going to Star Pizza for years but this was my first time stopping at this location. They are known for their deep dish pizzas so I definitely recommend getting that if you stop here - you won't be disappointed!We went on a Saturday night and the place was surprisingly empty. We ordered a small starburst and a small chicken alfredo. Both pizzas were AMAZING, per usual. This was definitely too much food for only two people but it made for perfect left overs the day after.The service here is always very friendly and fast. Our waiter was attentive, funny, and friendly. I will keep coming back here!

4-4-2024 myself and my partner stop at Star Pizza , 77 Harvard we were greeted with smile Mr. Armando was waiter very courteous and cordial to ask what we wanted to drink and proceeded to take our order. We had Natural Garden Salad ( was a hit) & small regular dinner & order Starburst slice pizza #1 & 3 meat slice pizza was scrumptious I recommend this establishment if you're looking for awesome pizza & salad and friendly service and reasonable prices!Thanks again Armando for waiting on us.Ms. Mary Landa & Debra (her first time) definitely coming back!

To preface, I've heard really great things about Star Pizza and will 100% be giving them another shot. Some of my qualms could be due to my mistake online ordering, and I'm sure there's a pizza I'm missing that's the one to get.This review is simply to soften the sting of paying $30 for a pretty terrible pizza. I ordered a New York style pizza (large for those #leftovers), add fresh mozzarella, half pepperoni, half meatballs, add garlic. I suppose there could have been a mistake in the online ordering process as I thought I just added cheese, but it seems I ordered additional cheese on top of the cheese that comes with it (say cheese 10x fast, ha). But truly, this thing was COVERED in cheese. I was thinking it was going to be slices of fresh mozzarella but it ended up just being double portion of the regular cheese. In addition to the cheese, the garlic was quite overpowering. I love garlic as much as the next person (I mean hey, I ordered garlic on my pizza!) but every single bite I took was filled to the brim with mouthfuls of garlic. The sauce and crust reminded me of Digiorno, which was also a let down. All in all, my first Star Pizza experience was underwhelming, but I love to support local businesses and am aware that how I ordered my pizza could've attributed to my dissatisfaction. Next time I'll be sure to go in and try their deep dish!
